*ATM Theft Accused Arrested by Doda Police*

Doda Police achieved a major success today by apprehending an accused wanted in multiple ATM theft cases registered in the State of West Bengal.

One person, namely *Sapat (32), S/O Idris, R/O Near Masjid, Gudhala (174) Mewat, PS Punhana, District Nuh (Mewat), Haryana, PIN–122508,* was involved in several ATM theft incidents, including two cases amounting to ₹34 lakh. In this regard, FIR No. 131/2025 U/S 321, 305, 326 BNS stands registered at Police Station Howrah Sankrail, West Bengal. A police team from West Bengal had arrived in Doda to trace the accused.

On the directions of *SSP Doda, Sh. Sandeep Mehta–JKPS*, a dedicated police team was constituted to assist the visiting team. Acting swiftly and on specific information, Doda Police apprehended the accused from the Khellani area.

The accused has been brought to Police Station Doda for completion of legal formalities and will be further handed over to the visiting police team as per the procedure. With this action, Doda Police have successfully averted a potential theft threat in the district..

DDC Chairman Reviews Qila Mohalla–Chinar Mohalla Road; Calls for Immediate Acceleration of Pending Work
Bhaderwah, December 5
District Development Council (DDC) Chairman Sh. Dhananter Singh Kotwal today conducted an extensive visit to assess the condition of the Qila Mohalla to Chinar Mohalla road, accompanied by the AEE of R&B Department and other concerned officials.
During the inspection, the Chairman reviewed the unfinished stretches, examined the existing road infrastructure, and identified the urgent measures required for completing the work. He stressed the need to expedite the pending tasks to ensure better connectivity and safer movement for the residents of the area.
Sh. Kotwal also interacted with local residents, who raised concerns related to the incomplete road, drainage issues, and difficulties faced during daily commuting. The Chairman assured them that the administration is committed to resolving these issues promptly. He directed the officials to take immediate corrective action and ensure smooth progress of developmental works without causing inconvenience to the public.
He further emphasized that timely completion of the road project is crucial for improving mobility and enhancing the overall quality of life for the people of Qila Mohalla, Chinar Mohalla, and adjoining areas.
