TWO GIRLS FROM KMAS REPRESENTED JUNIOR ASIAN MARTIAL ART CHAMPIONSHIP AT SRINAGAR
1. Kalidhar Memorial Army School (KMAS), Sunderbani, has once again brought laurels to the region with the outstanding achievement of its student Miss Parineeti Damral and Miss Abijot Kour who represented India in the 3rd Junior Asian Pencak Silat Championship 2025. Silat is a form of South-Asian martial art. It was held at Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Stadium, Srinagar (J&K) from 25th to 30th September 2025. Miss Abijot also won bronze medal in the championship.
2. It was first ever representation of KMAS students at an international stage, Parineeti and Abijot doning the Indian colours and competing against international players is a matter of immense pride for entire region and especially Sunderbani. Principal and entire KMAS fraternity joins hand in congratulating both Parineeti and Abijot on their remarkable achievement which have been possible by their untiring hard work, discipline and unflinching dedication. The School Management also expressed gratitude to the coaches, trainers, and the Pencak Silat Association Rajouri for their support in nurturing young talents.
3. KMAS, Sunderbani has been consistently encouraging holistic development by promoting sports, cultural activities, and academics in equal measure. We believe Parineeti’s and Abijot's success story will inspire many more students to pursue their dreams and excel in sports alongside academics.
