The News Square is a Jammu and Kashmir based India’s Digital Media Organisation which has been set up in March 2022 and is headquartered in Jammu City. Mr.

The News Square (TNS) is having a complete news website www.thenewssquare.com and youtube channel, page, Instagram account and tweeter handle. It is also coming with a newspaper soon. The News Square will have a nationalistic approach which is completely wedded to the constitutional democracy of India. As mentioned in its taglines, ‘सही ख़बर सही शब्दों में’ pledged to serve clean and clear

journalism based on research and facts, expressed in easy and vivid language is the main motto behind The News Square. The idea of TNS is to empower downtrodden, marginalized and ignored sections of the society by highlighting the genuine issues faced by our people especially in rural areas, with an added focus on the women and the youth. Making people properly aware about their constitutional rights, while remaining well-informed about their duties through imbibing the true spirit and relevance of democracy in their routine life. The News Square seeks to bring news and views, in-depth stories and interviews from the real ground situations and intends to launch awakening campaigns to benefit the whole society. The primary objective of the Website is to promote Jammu's identity and Jammu's role in the context of National Unity and National integration. It is a complete web platform and meant for providing the content in the visual and textual form delivered through internet- enabled devices. We have a team of experienced as well as the budding journalists with a strong back- end support of experts and analysts to serve the society in the best way with the ethnically- driven journalism which is fully modern as well. The News Square is funded by private investor of India but the investor has no control over editorial content of the organization and is completely independent in all its operations. A young Engineer, Mr Sonu Kumar Rathore owns this Media House. Deepak Khajuria is the Managing Editor of The News Square, who is heading the Editorial and Operational part. He is Jammu based journalist working for the last nearly two decades covering J&K, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh from close quarters. He is a multilingual journalist, who has worked for Print, Electronic and Digital media. High Journalistic Ethics

TNS has pleaged to serve the society with the high standards of journalistic ethics. Also widely-acclaimed journalists, intellectuals, professors, writers are constituting the team who would act as the advisors too. There are upright and intelligent minds which are behind this initiative of a clean, clear and clinical journalism with the title 'The News Square'. We are open to receive, publish and give good space to blogs, write ups, articles and stories from freelancers, aspiring reporters and writers from the far-flung, backward areas of the J&K in particular and different parts of our country in general. हल्द्वानी। केंद्रीय संचार ब्यूरो नैनीताल द्वारा भारतीय प्रबंधन संस्थान (आईआईएम) काशीपुर में रविवार को राष्ट्रीय प्रसारण दिवस के अवसर पर आयोजित गोष्ठी में अचीवर्स एकेडमी के निदेशक रवि शंकर शर्मा ने शैक्षणिक पत्र प्रस्तुत किया। इसके पूर्व क्षेत्रीय प्रचार अधिकारी राजेश सिन्हा ने रवि शर्मा को शॉल ओढ़ाकर तथा प्रतीक चिह्न देकर सम्मानित किया।
' लोक प्रशासन में पारदर्शिता लाने में निजी मीडिया की भूमिका ' विषय पर आईआईएम की फेकल्टी एवं बच्चों को संबोधित करते हुए रवि शर्मा ने सबसे पहले रेडियो प्रसारण की पृष्ठभूमि पर प्रकाश डाला। इसके बाद निजी स्वामित्व वाले कॉरपोरेट मीडिया जैसे टेलीविजन कार्यक्रम या रेडियो प्रोग्रामिंग की भूमिका पर चर्चा करते हुए बताया कि मीडिया समाज को अनेक प्रकार से नेतृत्व प्रदान करता है, जिससे समाज की विचारधारा भी प्रभावित होती है। मीडिया का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण काम है भ्रष्टाचार को उजागर करना तथा जो कुछ भी गलत हो रहा है, उसे सबके सामने लाना। मीडिया जन समस्याओं और जन हित के मुद्दों को सामने लाने के साथ ही जनता की समस्याओं को सुलझाने में भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाता है। इसके अलावा मीडिया का जो दूसरा महत्व कार्य है, वह है जनता को विभिन्न विषयों को लेकर जागरूक करना। जनता जब तमाम बातों को लेकर जागरूक हो जाएगी तो प्रशासन की ये मजबूरी हो जाएगी कि वह हर विषय पर जनता को सही जानकारी दे और उसके सभी कार्य तय समय में निपटाए। स्वाभाविक रूप से इससे लोक प्रशासन के कार्यों में पारदर्शिता आएगी। इस अवसर पर भारतीय प्रबंधन संस्थान के डीन ( डेवलपमेंट ) प्रोफेशनल कुणाल के. गांगुली, कौशल एकेडमी इंटरनेशनल के सीईओ डॉक्टर गिरीश घुगतियाल व अचीवर्स एकेडमी की निदेशक रश्मि शर्मा उपस्थित थीं।

Board chairman Anil Kumar Lahoti on Sunday allayed fears about fire safety in Express trains, saying that these semi-high-speed trains have "very good" arrangements on this front.

He was talking to reporters days after a blaze erupted in the battery box of a coach of the Vande Bharat train heading from to . The incident occurred on July 17, in which nobody was injured.

"There are no concerns regarding the safety of passengers in the Vande Bharat trains. There are also very good arrangements for fire prevention in these trains," Lahoti told reporters here.

The fire that broke out in the Bhopal-Delhi Vande Bharat train was confined to the battery box only. As good safety arrangements were in place, the blaze was extinguished before it could spread, he said.

When asked about the -Bhopal Vande Bharat train finding a few takers, Lahoti said they were taking a review of the issue and would find a solution.

The ticket fares of these trains are uniform across the country, he said, adding that the seat occupancy in them was more than 95 per cent.

The chairman was in Indore to attend a meeting convened to review the rail projects in and around Indore.
