5 injured in Mughal Road accident.

Shopian, June 10, 2021:-
At least five passengers sustain injuries after a tempo traveler turned turtle on Mugal Road this morning.

The accident occurred at Dubjan area of South Kashmir’s Shopian on Mughal Road. Tempo Traveller (JK01N-3937) was on way towards Shopian from Rajouri when the driver lost control over it and it rolled down from the road.

The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.

कठुआ 03 जून : कठुआ पुलिस ने जिले में अवैध शराब के सेवन/उत्पादन के खिलाफ अपनी हालिया कार्रवाई में आज पी/एस बानी के जद में 18 लीटर लहन नष्ट कर दिया और इस संबंध में दो लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया.
इंस्पेक्टर के नेतृत्व में पीएस बानी की पुलिस टीम। शाहनवाज गिरि एसएचओ पी/एस बानी ने अपने अधिकार क्षेत्र में कई छापे मारे, जिसमें लहान की मध्यवर्ती मात्रा में दो व्यक्तियों ने भाग लिया।

चेकिंग के दौरान कहा कि पुलिस टीम लगभग बरामद करने में सक्षम थी। दोनों के पास से 18 लीटर लहन और कुछ बर्तन जो मौके पर जब्त किए गए। इस बीच लहन की सभी बरामद खेप नष्ट हो गई और दोनों आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। इस पर दो अलग-अलग मामले एफआईआर संख्या 28/2021 और 29/2021 यू/एस 48 (ई) आबकारी अधिनियम के तहत पी/एस बानी में दर्ज किए गए और आगे की जांच को गति दी गई।

*40 bottles of illicit liquor recovered by Police station Gangyal , Jammu. One Bootlegger arrested.*

Jammu: Acting tough on the menace of illicit liquor, several nakas have been established by Jammu police, one such naka laid by dedicated team of P/S Gangyal led by SHO P/S Gangyal Inspr. Raghuvir Singh while on naka duty near Purmandal Morh rounded up a suspect namely Joginder Kumar S/O Sukhdev Singh R/O Baroi Upparli, Pathankot, Punjab who was coming in a vehicle bearing Registration No PB35Z-1894 from Bari Brahman side. During search, 40 bottles of illicit liquor i.e 02 bottles 750 Ml of Imperial Blue, 10 bottles 750/ML of McDowell's , 07 bottles 750ML of Punjab Old Fox Rum, 21 bottles 375 ML of Punjab Old Fox Rum were recovered from his illegal possession.

•On this, case FIR No. 89/21 u/s 48(a)/50/Excise Act got registered at P/S Gangyal and the accused got arrested.

•Further investigation of the case is going on.
