*NUKKAD NATAK SHOW ON DRUGS ABUSE ORGANIZED BY P/S BILLAWAR.*

Kathua; 18 Sep :Today a "Nukkad Natak" Show was organized in the Billwar area i.e (GHSS Billawar, GDC Billawar, GHSS Pallan & Phinter Chowk) under Civic Action Programme 2025-26 by PS Billawar whose main aim is to create awareness about "Drug Abuse" among the youth. The show was a huge success and drew attention to the rising drug abuse problem in our society.

The performance of "participants covered various aspects related to drug abuse, including the adverse effects of drug addiction on an individual's health, its impact on society, and the various measures that can be taken to prevent it. The play, which showcased various scenarios related to drug abuse, was highly informative and left a lasting impact on the audience.

The performance was attended by the police team of PS Billawar, School Staff, students as well as large number of community members and was organized under the guidance of SDPO Billawar Sh. Neeraj Padyar, Insp. Zaheer Mushtaq SHO PS Billawar under the overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Sh. Shobhit Saksena IPS.* It was highly appreciated for its informative and thought-provoking nature, which helped spread awareness about the dangers of drug abuse.

The General Public thanked Police for initiating and organizing the Nukkad Natak Show and hope that this will inspire others to organize such initiatives in the future.

| Virtually inaugurated a Bailey Bridge on the Ramban-Gool road. The bridge is a symbol of hope and lifeline for around 1.5 lakh people living in Ramban, Sangaldan, and Gool areas. It will boost connectivity and enhance the ease of living. Recent natural calamities had severely impacted lives, leading to infra damage, economic hardships & disruption on important route connecting Gool, Sangaldan & surrounding areas. Brave engineers of the Army worked tirelessly & under challenging conditions to build this bridge.
