International Daily Rising School Hosts First-Ever PGT Workshops on Commerce & Mathematics in Jammu

Jammu: International Daily Rising School proudly hosted for the First time in Jammu, PGT Workshops for Commerce and Mathematics under the aegis of the Jammu Sahodaya CBSE School Complex, aimed at strengthening pedagogical practices in senior secondary education. It was a thoughtful initiative by the school to provide a pathway to professional development and an enriching learning experience to the diligent educators of J&K.
The workshop focused on three key subjects: Accountancy, Business Studies and Mathematics and witnessed enthusiastic participation from Post Graduate Teachers across more than 25 reputed schools in J&K.

Dr. Atul Hans, Director Academics cm Principal of International Daily Rising School, authour of 23 books as well as a CBSE resource person, conducted interactive sessions on Accountancy and Business Studies, delving deep into case-based learning, experiential strategies, and integration of real-world business examples to enhance student understanding. Mr. Ashwani Kumar, PGT Mathematics, KV No. 1 and a visionary educator, captivated attendees with his practical approach to teaching complex mathematical concepts using visual aids, technology integration, and concept-mapping techniques in addition to interactive activities. Both resource persons brought with them over 20 years of teaching expertise, offering rich insight into subject delivery, error analysis, and assessment planning.

Highlights of the workshop:

The event also welcomed esteemed education leaders including Mr. Rajeev Sharma, Principal, JK Police Public School Jammu, and Ms. Manmeet Kaur, Vice Principal, Army Public School, Jammu Cantt. The event was generously supported by Mr. Rounik Mahajan, Head of Administration and Business, and Mr. Atul Mahajan, Deputy Regional Head, Academics. Helicopter crashes near Kedarnath shrine, all seven on board killed

DEHRADUN: A helicopter crashed near the Kedarnath shrine in Uttarakhand early Sunday, killing all seven on board.

Rudraprayag District Disaster Management Officer Nandan Singh Rajwar told that the accident took place above the forests of Gaurikund amid poor visibility due to bad weather.

The dead included six pilgrims and the pilot.

The helicopter took off from Kedarnath for Guptkashi around 5:30 am and crashed soon after.

Sources said the chopper belonging to A***n Aviation Pvt Ltd crashed between Gaurikund and Trijuginarayan in Kedarghati and caught fire.
