*CRACKDOWN ON ILLEGAL MINING CONTINUE; SAMBA POLICE SEIZES 10 VEHICLES INCLUDING 07 DUMPERS*

Samba, August 23,2025: Continuing its crackdown against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized ten vehicles including seven dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Samba, Vijaypur and Ramgarh, which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.

Police teams headed by, SHO PS Samba, SHO PS Vijaypur, SHO PS Ramgarh, Incharge Police Posts Mansar & Supwal of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized seven dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK08P-8799, JK02BP-8931, JK02BX-2766, JK14H-8636, JK19-7529, JK21F-5586, JK02CV-5686 and a tractor trolley bearing registration No. JK08B-9542 & two tractor trolleys without Nos. which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.

The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
