Two-day Thai Boxing District Level competition begins at Jammu North Assembly Segment

Make sports part of their routine: Uday asks youth

JAMMU, May 8: Uday Bhanu Chib, President of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC), while asserting that sports is must for the overall personality development of youth, has urged the J&K administration to provide adequate sports infrastructure in every nook and corner of J&K.

The JKPYC President stated this while addressing a function as a Chief Guest after declaring open an Inter School District Level Competition in the discipline of Thai Boxing at Roop Nagar, Jammu North Assembly Segment.

A lot of enthusiasm was witnessed among the children who have come to participate in the tournament.

Uday Chib, in his address, said that sports is must for overall personality development of every individual. He asserted that it’s not just your body that benefits from sports but playing sports contributes to mental health, helping to prevent depression and increase self-esteem and body image. He said that individuals who participate in sports might also benefit from the social aspect, developing friendships with teammates and feeling part of a group.

Uday Chib appealed to the children and youth of the area to make sports part of their routine so that the nation is ensured a healthy citizenry.

Kavinder meets Dhirendra Shastri, backs Baba’s ideology on Hindu culture

Says Congress’ stance on Bajrang Dal ban proof of its leadership going ‘out of mind’

MUMBAI: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister, Kavinder Gupta met Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham after he reached Mumbai on Sunday.
The BJP stalwart from Jammu and Kashmir asserted that the meeting with Babaji inspired him a lot as his thoughts on Hindu Culture were true to the hilt and very meaningful. He said that those connecting the word Hindu with a religion are underestimating its magnanimity because Hindu is in actuality a civilization, way of living and cannot be linked with a single religion.
The senior BJP leader said meeting with Dhirendra Shastri was a lifetime experience as his thoughts and preaching are enlightening. He maintained that saints and seers get powers directly from God and it is always a blessing to be in their company. He said that Babaji has been acting as a beacon of light for the youths of the country and therefore people should not miss any opportunity to meet him.
It is pertinent to mention that Shastriji has arrived in Mumbai to visit ancient Shiva temple in Ambernath.
Meanwhile, Kavinder while interacting with media persons here at aerodrome, expressed surprise over Congress’ stance on banning Bajrang Dal in Karnataka. He said it is strange that Congress leadership due to desperation to get back power has been giving such loathsome statements testifying the fact that its leaders have gone out of mind.
Kavinder said that for petty political mileage and to appease certain sections for a handful of votes, the Congress leadership has stooped so low that there is no other example in the entire country where any party has swollen its pride in this manner.

*Ramsoo Rescue Operation: Rescue Operation Called off, Teams Still on the Spot*

Srinagar;06-May2023(TPEK): Ramsoo rescue operation called off due to heavy water flow, all rescue teams are still on the spot.

An official told (The press eye kashmir) , "that we called off the rescue operation due to the heavy flow of water but we are still on the spot".

Pertinently woman died after she fell from the Shangan bridge at Nachliana Ramsoo, soon after the incident rescue teams reached the spot and launched the search operation.

The woman identified as Zahid Begam(25), wife of Mohd Arif Gujar resident of Tranna Kharri.

An Official also said that the search operation will start tomorrow morning again.(The press eye kashmir)

Pak to pay heavy price for exporting terror: Kavinder

JAMMU: Condemning the martyrdom of five bravehearts during an encounter in Rajouri, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta said that Pakistan will have to pay a heavy price for his misadventures to export terror.
Expressing solidarity with the bereaved families of the paratroopers who laid down their lives for the sake of motherland, the BJP stalwart said that time for a decision fight has come and soon the Modi Government will root out terrorism from the soil of J&K by neutralizing the last man standing against the interests of country and vitiating peace in the region.
Kavinder said it is intriguing that to fulfill the illegitimate desire to spread unrest in India, Pakistan has devastated its own economy and that is not enough because despite the fact that its population is on the edge and is starving the rogue has not stopped abetting the terrorism inside India. He said that Pakistan couldn’t destabilise India by its nefarious designs; rather one day its own existence will come to an end as India has become one of the world powers and can destroy its adversaries as and when required.
