NEW DELHI: The Life Sciences Foundation, established by the revered Dr. O. P. Kohli, marked its 29th Annual foundation function with great devotion and fervour at Chattarpur, New Delhi on Baisakhi. The auspicious event drew a large gathering of devotees and well-wishers from New Delhi as well as various other parts of the country, all united in their admiration and gratitude for Dr. Kohli and the life-transforming guidance he continues to provide through the foundation.
The day commenced with soulful devotional chants and prayers, filling the atmosphere with spiritual energy and positivity. Devotees, old and new, gathered with a shared sense of reverence and community. Dr. O. P. Kohli, the guiding light behind the Foundation, addressed the attendees with his profound insights and spiritual wisdom. His speech was met with heartfelt applause and deep appreciation, as he encouraged everyone to lead a life rooted in self-awareness, service, and scientific understanding of life’s deeper truths.
During his speech on Baisakhi, Dr. Kohli urges for life of awareness, service and science and also asked people to live with purpose, He advocates life of service and scientific insight. “Self-Awareness, service and science, is Dr. Kohli’s message to all mankind.”
As part of its continued commitment to service, the Foundation also today organised a complimentary medical dental camp for the devotees. A team of skilled dental doctors and volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure that everyone received thorough dental check-ups and consultations. The initiative was highly appreciated, especially by the elderly and those who had traveled from distant locations.
Over the years, the Foundation has become a beacon of light for thousands of individuals who have been inspired and uplifted by Dr. O P Kohli’s teachings. Many devotees took to the stage and informally shared how their lives had been positively impacted by the Foundation’s work – from improved well-being to a more meaningful understanding of life.
The function concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks to Guruji, as the devotees fondly refer to Dr. O. P. Kohli. His humility, tireless service, and dedication to the betterment of society have earned him not just a large following, but also deep respect from people across all walks of life.
As the sun set on the 29th Foundation Day, the air remained thick with devotion, gratitude, and a renewed sense of purpose among all who attended. With eyes set on the future, the Life Sciences Foundation continues to shine as a powerful blend of science, service, and spirituality – all thanks to the vision and grace of Dr. O. P. Kohli.
Prominent among others who participated in the function include former Chief Justice Parmod Kohli, Surinder Kumar SDM Haryana and Delhi Roadways, Jatinder Kumar, Director, Finance Delhi, Kamal Kapoor, Managing Director NHPC Delhi, Col Bindu Ghowati, Rupali Paul, Managing Director, Solar Project Delhi and Prem Lata Deputy Director Local Funds office.
The prominent persons from Jammu include Vijay Kohli, retired senior Section Officer from J&K Education Department, Pushp Kohli, retired Accounts Officer of J&K Finance department, CA Vineet Kohli, who, is the Chairman of the J&K Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) also participated in the foundation function on Baisakhi at Delhi.
Dr. O P Kohli is one such humble soul, an educationist with M.A.; M.Ed, LLB; Ph.D, degrees, retired from a senior government position in Dec 2000, to devote his full time dedication to God as eternal guide and a divine healer for the health, mind and spiritual problems of human beings all over the world from the Temple of Life Sciences Foundation.
A sincere seeker since childhood, Dr. Kohli has followed the path of strict self discipline advocated by his revered spiritual Guru Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda of ‘Yogoda Satsanga Society of India’ and Self-Realization Center’ California (USA). He is a kind of mystique for anyone, who has been in his presence, cannot fail to be affected by his aura and spiritual peace and serenity that he radiates.
Lovingly known among some devotees as ‘Bhai Sahib’ and others as ‘Guruji’, Dr Kohli was chosen by destiny to experience and reveal to the world that it is insult to yourself to be born, live and die without knowing the answer to the mystery of why you were sent here on earth as a human being.
With this soul searching burning desire in himself, he established ‘LIFE SCIENCES FOUNDATION’ – A Non-Government Organisation under ‘Life Sciences Foundation Trust’ in April, 1996.
Dr. O P Kohli is today serving as ‘Beacon Light’ for guiding the ignorant masses and providing Spiritual healing even where medical and modern medicines fail to respond. With the sole intention of serving the masses with total surrender to God, he set up an Ashram & Meditation Center at 1 Rose Avenue, DLF Farms, Chattarpur , Delhi.
