BJP OBC Morcha Launches Plantation Drive in Jammu South to Mark PM Modi’s 75th Birthday under Sewa Pakhwada.

On the occasion of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s 75th birthday week , the BJP OBC Morcha Jammu & Kashmir President Braham Jyot Satti, kick-started a plantation drive in Jammu South. The program was organized by the Ram Pal Mehra President (BJP OBC Morcha Jammu South ) as part of the ongoing Sewa Pakhwada initiatives across the Union Territory.
Braham Jyot Satti, while leading the drive, highlighted that as the Prime Minister has completed 75 glorious years of age, the Morcha has resolved to plant 75 trees across public spaces like schools, hospitals, parks, temples, and other community places. He emphasized that the plantation drive is a symbolic gesture of growth, sustainability, and collective responsibility towards nature, aligning with the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister for a clean and green India.
Addressing the gathering, He said that Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji has dedicated his life to the service of the nation and the upliftment of the common man. On his birthday, it is our duty to celebrate in a manner that benefits society and future generations. By planting trees, we contribute to a healthier environment and honor his vision of sustainable development and in the campaign we will plant 75 plant saplings at various different places like schools , Temples, Mukti Dham , Parks etc .
He further added that plantation is not just an environmental act, but a social responsibility. Trees give us oxygen, protect the soil, provide shade, and are the true guardians of our environment. Every plant we put in the ground today is a promise of fresh air, pure water, and a safe climate for our children. This drive will not end here it will continue as a movement to make Jammu greener and healthier
Braham Jyot also urged people to adopt trees like family members and take care of them regularly. He said, Just planting a sapling is not enough; nurturing it with water, care, and protection is equally important. Our Morcha workers will monitor the growth of these plants and ensure they become strong trees. This is our gift to nature, to society, and to future generations on the birthday of our beloved leader.
