The event was supported by the Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association as part of the National 100 Days Drug Free India Campaign.

The walkathon witnessed an overwhelming response, with scores of people from different walks of life assembling early in the morning to participate and show solidarity with the mission of building a drug-free society.
