Lieutenant Governor’s Message on the Eve of Republic Day

LEH, JAN 25: “On the auspicious and historic occasion of the 77th Republic Day of our beloved nation, I extend my heartfelt greetings and warm wishes to the people of the Union Territory of Ladakh.

I pay my humble tribute to the visionary leaders and framers of our Constitution, whose wisdom, courage, and sacrifice laid the foundation of a sovereign, democratic, socialist, secular, and republic India, rooted in the timeless values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. These ideals continue to guide our nation’s progress and strengthen our democratic ethos.

I convey my sincere appreciation to our hardworking farmers, workers, teachers, doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs, artisans, artists, students, youth, women, and members of civil society. Their dedication, resilience, and collective efforts are instrumental in driving inclusive development and social harmony in Ladakh.

I express my deep gratitude and salute to the brave personnel of the Armed Forces, paramilitary forces, and the Ladakh Police for their unwavering commitment to safeguarding our borders and ensuring peace, security, and stability in this strategically important region. Their courage and sacrifice inspire confidence among our citizens and uphold the sovereignty and integrity of the nation.

I also acknowledge the invaluable contribution of the civil administration in delivering efficient, transparent, and people-centric governance. Their tireless efforts in implementing developmental programmes, strengthening public service delivery, and reaching the remotest corners of Ladakh deserve special appreciation.

With renewed resolve and collective determination, let us work together to transform Ladakh into a model of sustainable development, environmental stewardship, and economic prosperity. We must focus on strengthening infrastructure, promoting renewable energy, eco-tourism, organic farming, education, healthcare, and skill development, while preserving our rich cultural heritage and fragile ecosystem.

Our youth must be equipped with modern education, digital skills, and entrepreneurial opportunities to emerge as leaders of tomorrow. Let us strive to ensure that women and marginalized sections of society are empowered and provided equal opportunities to realise their full potential.

On this proud occasion, let us reaffirm our commitment to the ideals of our Constitution and dedicate ourselves to building a peaceful, prosperous, and progressive Ladakh, contributing meaningfully to a strong and developed India.

Two-Day Teacher Training Camp inaugurated on the 93rd Birth Anniversary of Shri Lajpat Rai Mehra Ji
Jammu, 22nd August:
On the auspicious occasion of the 93rd Birth Anniversary of Shri Lajpat Rai Mehra Ji – the Founder of Neurotherapy, the Two-Day Teacher Training Camp, organized by Lajpat Rai Mehra Neurotherapy Research Training Institute, was inaugurated today at Trikuta Yatri Niwas, Jammu. The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp before Guruji’s portrait.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was Shri Arvind Gupta Ji, Hon’ble MLA, Jammu West, accompanied by senior social worker Shri Veenu Ji. The Chief Guest was also felicitated with a memento.
Around 70 neurotherapists from across the country, including representatives from 22 states, state coordinators, study center in-charges, and core committee members, participated in the camp.
The program was graced by prominent dignitaries:

Addressing the gathering, Shri Ram Gopal Parihar Ji stated that today hundreds of Neurotherapy Centers are functioning across India. He further informed that two major universities — Haryana Om sterling global University Hisar and Gandhinagar University Ahmedabad Gujarat— are offering Neurotherapy courses. More than 1 million patients across the nation have benefitted from Neurotherapy treatments so far. He also guided the participants on how Neurotherapy workers can contribute effectively in serving society and spreading awareness.
The inspiring biography of Shri Lajpat Rai Mehra Ji was also highlighted during the event. It was announced that the training camp would continue from the morning of 22nd August till 5:00 PM on 23rd August.
Notably, on 23rd August, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, a free Neurotherapy Health Camp will be organized in collaboration with Mata Vaishno Lok Kalyan Sansthan, where free treatment will be provided for back pain, knee pain, neck pain, and shoulder pain.
In his address, the Chief Guest Shri Arvind Gupta Ji assured full support for the promotion of Neurotherapy and its social initiatives.
The program was conducted by Shri Sumit Mahajan Ji, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Shri Pushpak Srivastava Ji, General Secretary of the Institute.
Also present on the occasion were Media Incharge Amit Sharma, National Coordinator Avdhesh Singh Thakur, Executive Member Ramesh Kumar, Shri Nag Lakshmi Ji, Shri Sukumar Ji, along with many other dignitaries.

The survival of the mother and son was nothing short of a miracle

​In a tragic cloud@burst incident during the Machail Mata Yatra, a mother and her son were traveling together. The sudden, strong current of water and mud separated them. The mother was trapped under the debris, and her son was also stuck a short distance away. But destiny had other plans, and both of them survived. Today, four days later, the son was reunited with his mother and gave her courage by saying, "I'm okay." This in@cident has deeply shaken all of us. May Mata Rani bless everyone. Jai Mata Di.

​मचैल माता यात्रा के दौरान बाद@ल फटने से जो दुखद दुर्घटना हुई, उसमें एक माँ और उनका बेटा भी साथ यात्रा कर रहे थे। अचानक आए तेज़ पानी और मिट्टी के बहाव के कारण माँ और बेटा बिछड़ गए। माँ मलबे में द@ब गईं और बेटा उनसे थोड़ी दूरी पर फँस गया। लेकिन किस्मत को कुछ और ही मंजूर था, और दोनों की जान बच गई।
​आज, 4 दिन बाद, बेटे ने अपनी माँ से मिलकर उन्हें हिम्मत दी और कहा, "मैं ठीक हूँ।" यह घटना हम सभी के दिलों को छू गई है।

Quality ,Individualized continum of obstetric care can give good obstetric outcome in majority of the cases.
Dr Sudhaa has been working for women health for many decades and is already President Elect of Indian Menopause Society .She has been Member National Advisory Board and Journal Committee for the Journal of FOGSI ( JOGI ) for 5 years.. She has 90 publications,11
