FIR Registered Against Bus Driver for Stunt Driving on Mughal Road
Traffic Police Seize Vehicle; Driver Arrested After Viral Video Shows Him Dancing While Driving

RAJOURI/POONCH: Traffic Police Rural Jammu has taken swift action against a bus driver whose reckless stunt driving went viral on social media, causing widespread public concern. The video showed the driver repeatedly taking his hands off the steering wheel and dancing while operating a bus reportedly carrying students on a picnic over the Mughal Road near Chandimarh.

Acting promptly on the incident, SSP Traffic Rural Jammu ordered an enquiry through DTI Poonch. The investigation successfully identified both the vehicle and the driver involved in the dangerous act.

Following this, Traffic Police Rural Jammu booked the driver under Sections 3/181/184/207 of the Motor Vehicles Act, and the passenger bus bearing registration number JK12C-9247 was seized. The findings were also shared with SSP Poonch, who directed the immediate registration of FIR No. 284/2025 under Sections 281/125 BNS read with 184 M.V. Act at Police Station Surankot.

The accused driver has been identified as Ramzan Ali @ Chuni, son of Mohd Bashir, resident of Dhargloon, Tehsil Mendhar, District Poonch. He has been arrested, and further investigation is underway.

SSP Traffic Rural Jammu Farooq Qaiser has appealed to the public to remain alert and report any such illegal or dangerous driving practices. He assured that stringent legal action will be taken against all violators to ensure public safety.
