"A miraculous sword"
Sudhart, a demon, was killed by Lord Shiva in present Sudhmahadev area. Seeing the fierce form of Shiva,  Lord Shiva struck him with his trident with such intensity and severity that the giant and even the great trident broke into pieces and it merged into the earth.
Another amusing incident is also associated with this Trishul, which is related to the ruling dynasty of Chenani state. The 36th king of this dynasty, Raja Ram chand Ji got the Trishul excavated to see how deep its origin was, but the root was not found. The same night, Raja was told by Lord Shiva to stop the excavation in a dream and asked him to make a sword out of a piece of Trishul and worship Rudra and Talwar regularly. As long as he had the sword, victory would be in wars. Having got a sword made, the king kept it with him and started worshipping small Rudra and sword regularly. This order had been passed down through the generations. As long as this sword remained with the dynasty, it continued to win battles and other conflicts.
During the Kashmir seige along with Raja  Ranjit Dev and Ahmed Shah Abdali and during the seige of Kangra along with Raja Jammu and others, Raja of Chenani played great role in the seige and was praised and hailed from all sides.
After the seige of Kangra, Prithvi Chand Nurpuria suddenly attacked the camp of Raja Chenani during worship and killed him, took away the sword from him.
Later, where did that Talwar go, with whom did it stay, nothing is known about it.
But after this incident, Raja  Ranjit Dev became so angry with Prithvi Chand that he did not accept him for the rest of his life.
