CCTV footage reportedly captured the teacher unbutton!ng the child’s shirt before allegedly slapp!ng him, after which the boy fel!. His family rushed him to King George Hospital, where he was declared de@d on arrival. Police have detained the teacher and are examining CCTV footage and witness statements, while the post-m0rtem is expected to establish the exact cause of de@th. Chhhattisgarh just gave ration distribution a techpowered upgrade. Chhattisgarh has introduced a new way to access ration with its 24-hour ‘Ration ATM’ in Birgaon, Raipur. The Annapurti Grain ATM allows eligible beneficiaries to collect their allotted rice through a quick, automated process. Beneficiaries simply enter their card details and complete fingerprint authentication, after which the machine dispenses the required quantity of rice. With a storage capacity of around 2,500 kg, it reduces manual handling and waiting time. Adding a community-driven touch, the ATM is operated by Jyoti Group, a local women’s self-help group. The initiative could make ration distribution more convenient, accessible and technology-driven for beneficiaries.
