Qawwali elements have decreased from about 15% a decade ago to just 5%.
This shift might be due to changing audience tastes, with more focus on short, catchy tunes that do well on streaming platforms. The industry's tilt towards commercial hits over traditional genres could also be a factor.
Here is a qawali composed my self forM/S Saahil creative productions released yesterday at Abhinav theatre and sung by young talented singer Nitin Mahi and produced by Meenu Jaan it shows how we can keep this rich musical tradition alive in present scenario..

RMK Arts and Research Foundation, janipur jammu held a emergency meeting in its studio under its President Sh. Kuldeep Saproo in which all members participated to Condole the untimely Demise of our Senior Most Artist Madam BRIJ KISHORI JI (DIDI).
The entire Artist Fraternity of J&K is Shocked and deeply saddened to hear this news. Brig Kishori Ji was a truly remarkable soul whose kindness, wisdom, and unwavering dedication left an indelible mark on everyone we all are fortunate enough to know her. She worked with Three Generations of Artists in J&K. Her untimely demise has created a big vacume within Artists Fraternity. Her life was a testament to selfless service, inspiring countless individuals through her noble deeds and gentle spirit. She had a unique ability to bring warmth and light wherever she went, and her memory will forever remain etched in our hearts. As we remember the love, joy, and wisdom she shared, may her legacy continue to guide and inspire us. In this moment of profound loss, may her family and loved ones find strength and solace in the cherished memories of a life so beautifully lived. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her impact will endure forever. OM Shanti 🙏🙏💐
