Sissu Waterfall. 🧿
Some places make you take photos.
Some places make you put the phone down. 🏔️
This one did both —
once for memory, then for myself.
Devbhoomi keeps reminding me —
the best views aren’t always the ones you climb for.
Sometimes they’re sitting right next to the road,
waiting for you to slow down. ❤️🏴☠️
8x zoom and the waterfall still felt bigger than me. 🧿🏔️
Some places put you in your place —
and that’s exactly why we keep going back. 🏴☠️
From above, the drop hits different. 🧿
That little white thread you see?
It’s a 200-foot fall straight off the cliff. 🏔️🏴☠️
Scale doesn’t show up in photos —
but the goosebumps don’t lie. ❤️
The best part of Sissu wasn’t the waterfall. 🧿
It was sitting on the side of the hill,
watching uncle slice cucumbers from his own farm,
chatting in broken Hindi about the weather,
and eating the freshest salad of our lives ❤️🥒
Local vendors are the real Devbhoomi. 🏴☠️🏔️
Every waterfall has a story before the fall. 🧿
Glacial melt from the peaks above,
winding through Lahaul’s meadows,
patient and quiet —
until the cliff turns it into thunder. 🏔️🏴☠️
The journey is always the better shot. ❤️
