NH-44 operational, over 5,500 fruit-laden trucks moved; Fuel supply to normalise today: Div Com Kashmir

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg said restoration work on the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) is progressing on a war footing, with the route operational and over 5,500 fruit-laden trucks already moved towards Jammu via NH-44 and Mughal Road. He said movement of essential commodities is also underway, with traffic on both routes. Garg assured that fuel shortages will be resolved across almost all parts of J&K by this evening, urged the public not to panic, and called for cooperation with the administration.
