*Jammu Police Arrest Six individuals for Brandishing Weapons While Dancing on Ring Road in Kanachak.*

A disturbing video showing a group of individuals brandishing sharp edged weapons and lathis while dancing on the Ring Road in the Kanachak area recently went viral on social media, raising serious public concern and prompting immediate police intervention.A case *FIR No.104/2025 U/S 191(2),(3)BNS & 4/25 Arms Act* for unlawful possession of weapons and disturbing public order has been registered in PS Kanachak.

Acting swiftly, teams from *ICBPP Sandwan, and ICBPP Gajansoo,SHO Kanachak under the supervision of SDPO Domana and SP Rural Jammu.* conducted multiple raids at different locations. As a result, six individuals have been arrested, while efforts are ongoing to apprehend others who remain absconding.The detail of apprehended individuals are:-

*1.Mohd Akram @ Bachu*
S/O Rashid Abdul R/O Sanasar A/P Rajpura Tehsil Marh District Jammu.
*2)Mohd Ameer Monu*
S/O Mohd Hanif R/O Ramban A/P Rajpura.
*3)Mushtaq Ahmad @ Billa* S/O Maiyan R/O Patnitop
A/P Rajpura Tehsil Marh District Jammu.
*4)Mohd Maneer @ Ballu*
S/O Saif Ali R/O Dub Karam Din Tehsil Marh District Jammu
5) *Sahil Sharma* S/O Parshotam Lal R/O Chatha Gujjran.
6) *Nikhil Nandan*
S/O Madan Lal R/O Chatha Gujjran.

Moreover, *Two sharp edged weapons and some lathis* are recovered from their possession besides One *Tata Mobile bearing registration No.JK21H 2517* also seized.

The Jammu Police have appealed to the public to refrain from engaging in such illegal and provocative acts. Authorities have issued a stern warning that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found violating the law.

*Further investigation is currently underway.*

अखनूर पुलिस ने दिखाई तत्परता, चोरी हुई बस 24 घंटे के भीतर की बरामद

अखनूर, 17 जुलाई:
अखनूर पुलिस ने एक त्वरित और प्रशंसनीय कार्रवाई करते हुए एक चोरी हुई यात्री बस को मात्र 24 घंटे के भीतर सफलता पूर्वक बरामद कर लिया है, जो अपराध नियंत्रण में पुलिस की तत्परता, कुशल नेतृत्व और प्रभावी समन्वय का प्रमाण है।

प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, 16 जुलाई को भारत भूषण पुत्र कृष्ण लाल, निवासी सुंगल मोड़, अखनूर ने थाने में शिकायत दर्ज करवाई थी कि उनकी बस (रजिस्ट्रेशन नंबर JK02V-0346) को अज्ञात व्यक्तियों द्वारा चोरी कर लिया गया है।

शिकायत मिलते ही थाना प्रभारी संजीव चिब के नेतृत्व में एक विशेष पुलिस दल का गठन किया गया और मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए तुरंत कार्यवाही शुरू कर दी गई। पुलिस टीम ने विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में तलाशी अभियान चलाया और गुप्त सूचनाओं के आधार पर बस को दोमाना पुलिस थाने के अंतर्गत आने वाले पटोली क्षेत्र से बरामद कर लिया।

वाहन को सुरक्षित स्थिति में जब्त कर लिया गया है और चोरी की वारदात में संलिप्त आरोपियों की पहचान एवं गिरफ्तारी के लिए आगे की जांच जारी है।

यह सफलता जम्मू-कश्मीर पुलिस की सजगता, दक्षता और जनता की सुरक्षा के प्रति उनकी प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाती है। पुलिस की इस त्वरित कार्रवाई की स्थानीय लोगों ने भी सराहना की है।

*DRUG PEDDLER ARRESTED; 4.63 GRAMS OF HEROINE LIKE NARCOTICS RECOVERED BY P/S BILLAWAR

Kathua; 09 July:- J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Sh. Shobhit Saksena IPS* today recovered 4.63 Grams Heroine-like substance in the jurisdictional area of PS Billawar and one drug peddler was arrested.

Today a Police party of PP Ramkot led by IC PP Ramkot PSI Ranbeer Singh under the supervision of *SDPO Billawar Sh. Neeraj Padyar and SHO PS Billawar Insp. Zaheer Mushtaq* established a routine naka in the Basanter area to keep a check on suspicious movement and illegal activities.

During naka checking, the police team noticed a person approaching on foot in a suspicious manner. On being stopped and questioned, he disclosed his identity as Darshan Singh S/O Baldev singh R/ O (Tardal ) Galak tehsil Ramkot District kathua .Upon his personal search, *4.63 grams* of heroine-like substance and one mobile phone has been recovered from his possession.

Accordingly, a case FIR No. 106/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Billawar, and the accused was taken into custody on the spot.
Moreover, it is pertinent to mention here that the above said accused is a Notorious Drug Peddler and two cases were already registered against the said accused:-

(1) FIR No. 100/2023 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS act of P/S Saddar Gurdaspur Punjab.
(2) FIR No. 04/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act of PS Billawar .
The recovered contraband has been seized as per legal procedures, and further investigation is in progress to trace the source and linkages of the narcotic supply.

*BOVINE SMUGGLING BID FOILED;05 BOVINES RESCUED BY PS BILLAWAR.

KATHUA; 05 JULY; J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Sh. Shobhit Saksena IPS rescued 05 bovines in the J/D of PS Billawar.

An information received through reliable sources that one person namely Suraj Din S/O Mow Din R/o Ward No.8 near mobile school lower thamnal Tehsil Billawar distt.kathua is transporting bovines animals by foot without the Permission of worthy DM Kathua from distt.Kathua to other district for his financial gains . In this regard. Police team of PS Billawar led by *SHO Billawar Insp Zaheer Mushtaq under the supervision of SDPO Billawar Sh Neeraj Padyar* apprehened the said person and rescued 05 Bovine animals. The said person violated the order of worthy DM Kathua and commited an offence.

As per information, a case FIR No.105/2025 U/S 223/BNS has been registered in Police station Billawar Further investigation is underway.

*General public have appreciated the continuous and strict actions of police against Bovine smugglers.*
