Shiv Sena Celebrates PM Narendra Modi’ 25 Years in Public Service Through Service Activities

Jammu, October 7, 2026:
Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) Jammu & Kashmir today celebrated the completion of 25 years of public service by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, marking his journey from Chief Minister of Gujarat to Prime Minister of India.

The programme was held under the leadership of Shri Ashwani Gupta, State President, Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde), Jammu & Kashmir, along with senior party leaders and workers, including Vicky Gupta, Sanjeev Sudan, Ajay Dhar, Pankaj Gupta, Rakesh Kak, Vishal Kajhuria, Satish Kachroo, Himmat Singh and others.

As part of the celebrations, Shiv Sena delegates visited an old-age home, where they distributed sweets and essential daily-use items among senior citizens and interacted with them.

The party delegation also visited a Gau Shala, where green fodder was provided for the cows as part of the party’s social service initiative.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ashwani Gupta said that the celebration was dedicated to public service, social welfare and serving society, reflecting the spirit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji’ 25-year journey in public life.

He said Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) will continue to undertake social and public welfare activities across Jammu & Kashmir and remain connected with the people at the grassroots level.

*SAMBA POLICE DETAINED NOTORIOUS DRUG PEDDLER UNDER PITNDPS ACT, LODGED IN JAIL*

Samba: October 6, 2026: In a major action aimed at curbing the growing menace of illicit drugs and dismantling the network of habitual drug peddlers, Samba Police has booked a notorious drug peddler under the provisions of “Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances” (PITNDPS) Act for his continuous involvement in spreading drug menace in the area and lodged him in the Jail.

The notorious drug peddler detained under PITNDPS Act has been identified as Sahil Kumar S/o Raj Kumar R/o Ward No. 07 Budwani tehsil and district Samba. The said drug peddler has been involved in multiple cases registered under NDPS Act at different Police Stations of district Samba for his continuous illegal activities of drug peddling.

The said accused is a habitual drug peddler and poses a serious threat to the health and welfare of the people especially the youth in the region.

In view of repeated indulgence of said notorious drug peddler in illicit drug trafficking, District Police Office Samba prepared and submitted dossier & connected documents to the office of the Divisional Commissioner Jammu. Accordingly, notorious drug peddler Sahil Kumar has been lodged in Jail after obtaining a formal detention order from the Divisional Commissioner Jammu.

Samba Police reiterated its unwavering commitment and resolve to take stringent action against drug peddlers and smugglers to effectively curb the drug menace and ensure a safe, drug-free society.
