JKPSC Postpones Lecturer & Civil Judge Examinations after Intervention of LoP Shri Sunil Sharma
Jammu, September 19: In a major relief to thousands of aspirants across Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has postponed the examinations for the posts of Lecturer and Civil Judge (Junior Division) following the strong intervention of the Leader of Opposition, Shri Sunil Sharma.
The decision marks a significant victory for students who had been raising genuine concerns over inadequate preparation time and the overlapping schedule of competitive examinations. Despite repeated pleas, the authorities had failed to act until Shri Sunil Sharma took up the matter forcefully, ensuring that the voices of aspirants were heard at the highest level.
Shri Sunil Sharma, while welcoming the decision, reiterated that the future of the youth of Jammu and Kashmir cannot be compromised. “The LG administration must be sensitive to the aspirations of our talented young generation. I will continue to fight for their rights, be it in employment opportunities, education, or governance,” he said.
