🟣In a significant development, against drug trafficking,Bishnah Police Station ,Jammu with the active Public support, arrested two individuals during the intervening night of December 9 and 10, 2025, at Pasgal, Bishnah.

🔴This is one of unique developments in the fight against against drug menace ,where open,active support of locals helped Jammu Police to nab two drug pddlers,who intended to sell drugs to the youth in the area.

🔵It has added one more active dimension to the Antidrug Campaign of Jammu Police,where Public openly came against drug peddlers and helped police in nabbing the drug paddlers.

🟠The accused have been identified as Baru, son of Sharief, resident of Khad, Vijaypur, aged 20 years, and Mensha, son of Surmu, resident of Khad, Vijaypur, aged 19 years.

🔴According to police officials and local residents, the duo was found carrying approximately 74 grams of a heroin-like substance. On noticing the police patrolling party at Pasgal Bishnah, the suspects allegedly attempted to flee. The locals supporting police patrolling team acted promptly and apprehended both individuals on the spot.

🟠Following the recovery, FIR No. 139/2025 was registered against the accused persons, and further investigation has been set into motion.Police is also working to identify backward as well as forward linkages in the cases to book all such individuals in the case.

🟣With active public support as in the aforementioned case,Jammu police is committed to identify and book all the drug traffickers and curb the drug menace from Jammu region.

*Jammu Police, South Zone Crack Down on Criminal Elements; Three Notorious Persons Arrested With Sharp-Edged Weapons by Police Post Narwal*

Reaffirming its firm commitment to maintaining peace and public safety, Jammu Police, South Zone in a swift and well-coordinated action, arrested three notorious individuals and recovered sharp-edged weapons including a toka, swords and a khokri.

This decisive action was carried out by a team of Police Post Narwal led by the Incharge PP Narwal, under the close supervision of SP City South, SDPO City East and SHO Bahu Fort Insp Sushil Choudhary, under the overall supervision of SSP Jammu.

During the initial enquiry, the arrested individuals were identified as:
1. Rockey Singh S/o Late Ram Singh R/o Rajiv Nagar, Narwal, District Jammu
2. Shiva S/o Late Ram Singh R/o Rajiv Nagar, Narwal, District Jammu
3. Sahil S/o Suresh R/o Amritsar, A/P Rajiv Nagar, Narwal, District Jammu

In this regard, FIR No. 338/2025 under Sections 4/25 A.Act and 3(5) BNS has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort. All three accused were arrested on the spot, and further investigation is in progress.

**Absconder Wanted for 19 Years Arrested by Jammu (Rural) Police in Gharota**

In a significant achievement, Jammu (Rural) Police have arrested an absconder who had been *evading arrest for the past 19 years*.

Based on specific information, a police team of Police Station Gharota apprehended an absconder identified as *Abdul Rashid, son of Ghulam Qadir, resident of Zeban Matipora, District Kulgam.* He was wanted in a case registered under *FIR No. 172/1994 under Sections 353/336/337/147/148/120-B, 307/324/511/332 of the RPC of Police Station Gharota.*

The accused had been absconding for nearly two decades. Acting swiftly on the received inputs, the police team traced and arrested him from the area. He was produced before the Hon’ble Court and has been remanded to judicial custody at Ambphalla District Jail.

New Delhi, Nov 13: A new CCTV footage, which captured the exact moment the white Hyundai i20 car exploded in the middle of heavy evening traffic near Delhi's Red Fort earlier this week, has emerged.

The footage, recorded by a traffic camera near Red Fort Metro Station Gate Number 1, shows the car moving slowly amid autos, e-rickshaws and other vehicles before it suddenly bursts into flames.

Within seconds, the vehicle is engulfed by a huge red fireball, followed by a thick plume of smoke rising into the sky, sending nearby commuters running for safety.

The impact of the blast was so intense that several nearby vehicles were damaged. The area was immediately thrown into chaos as people scrambled to help the injured.–(PTI)

Sopore,Nov 13,Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday said to have arrested two hybrid terrorists and recovering of Arms and ammunition in Sopore area of North Kashmir's Baramulla District.

In a statement issued here to news agency reads that, J&K Police in Sopore along with 22 RR and 179BN CRPF, arrested two hybrid terrorists during a joint naka operation at Sadeeq Colony, Mominabad Sopore. The naka was established following specific input regarding movement of suspicious individuals in the area.

Statemsnt further reads that, During checking, two persons coming from Fruit Mandi Sopore towards Ahat Baba Crossing attempted to flee on noticing the presence of police and security forces. The joint team acted promptly and apprehended both individuals on the spot.

The arrested persons have been identified as Shabir Ahmad Najar son of Mohammad Akbar Najar resident of Mohalla Tawheed Colony Maazbugh and Shabir Ahmad Mir son of Mohammad Sultan Mir resident of Brath Sopore. Incriminating materials, arms & ammunition including 01 pistol, 01 magazine, 20 live rounds and 02 hand grenades were recovered from their possession. The recoveries indicate their involvement in terror-related activities in the area, it reads.

In this regard, a case FIR No. 253/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Sopore, and investigation has been set into motion. J&K Police reaffirm their commitment to maintaining peace and security across the valley, reads the statement.
