Meri marji me kuchh bhi karu
Imagine standing on a planet where a sunset lasts for
years.
On Venus, a single day is actually longer than an entire year. Venus takes about 243 Earth days to rotate once on its axis, but only 225 Earth days to complete one orbit around the Sun.
That means it you lived there, the planet would finish a whole year before one full day even passed.
But Venus gets even stranger.
It rotates in the opposite direction compared to most planets in our solar system. So on Venus, the Sun would appear to rise in the west and set in the east.
And despite being farther from the Sun than Mercury, Venus is actually the hottest planet because its thick atmosphere traps enormous amounts of heat through an extreme greenhouse effect.
Venus is a reminder that space doesnโt follow human expectations-it rewrites them completely.
