DYMAK HQ by Big - Bjarke Ingels Group rethinks the modern workplace through openness, tactile materials and a strong connection to nature.

Designed as a circular headquarters, the project brings workspaces, shared spaces and landscape together into one continuous environment. At its centre, a generous courtyard becomes the social heart of the building, encouraging interaction while creating an environment that feels open, connected and people-focused.

Beyond its distinctive form, a carefully considered palette of timber, brick and natural materials gives the headquarters a warm, welcoming character, showing how materiality can shape the architectural experience as much as the building's form.

Rather than treating nature as something outside the office, DYMAK HQ weaves it into the everyday working experience, showing how thoughtful architecture can support collaboration, wellbeing and community.

French artist Jacques Monneraud transforms one of the most familiar materials into something completely unexpected.

At first glance, these vessels appear to be made from folded cardboard and packing tape. A closer look reveals that every fold, crease and taped edge is meticulously crafted from clay.

Blurring the line between illusion and craftsmanship, the collection challenges our perception of material while highlighting the remarkable possibilities of contemporary ceramics.

MVRDV's Rotterdam ROCKS! has been selected as the winning proposal for the Shift Embassy in Rotterdam.

Rather than taking the form of a conventional building, the proposal transforms the site into a publicly accessible landscape of seven stacked "living rocks." Winding routes connect terraces, exhibition spaces, gathering areas and immersive experiences, inviting visitors to explore a future where architecture, ecology and culture exist as one continuous environment.

More than a cultural destination, Rotterdam ROCKS! presents a vision for how architecture can inspire environmental awareness while redefining the relationship between the city and nature.

Opening tomorrow, London Creates 2026, hosted by Archisource brings together some of the world's leading architects, engineers and designers to explore how technology is reshaping the future of the built environment.

Curated in collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects, the free exhibition showcases pioneering work through physical models, immersive installations, digital fabrication, material innovation, structural engineering and computational design.

Highlights include contributions from ZHA, AKT II, Mamou-Mani Architects, Fab.Pub, AADRL at the Architectural Association, The Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL) and the University of East London Design Fabrication Lab.

Alongside the exhibition, visitors can experience an extensive programme of talks, workshops and the Drawing of the Year Awards 2026, celebrating excellence in architectural representation and visual storytelling.

La Casa De Papel, designed by Bhoomija Creations, embraces a timeless A-frame form, reinterpreted through exposed brick, timber and expansive glazing. Set within a tropical coconut grove, the home responds to its surroundings with simplicity, creating spaces where architecture and landscape exist in quiet harmony.

The material palette remains honest and restrained, allowing brick to define both the exterior character and the warmth of the interiors. Carefully positioned openings frame views of the surrounding greenery, while natural light transforms each space throughout the day, reinforcing the home's connection to its setting.

Rather than relying on complexity, the project demonstrates how thoughtful proportions, enduring materials and a sensitive response to place can create architecture that feels calm, timeless and deeply rooted in nature.
