Since the age of 8 she got actively involved in Music and learnt Classical Music under the able guidance of Shri Shambhunath Sopori (Kashmir), Shri Yashwant Joshi, Shri Dhruv Ghosh and Singer Composer, Music Director-Shri mohinderjit Singh (all from Bombay). ritten & conducted by Late Padmashri Dinanath Nadim. In Bombay, since 1975 she regularly performed on Radio, TV and Stage. She sang many jingles & background song for Documentary Films as well as Children's Films. During the last three decades, her creative capabilities entered into Music Direction arena. One of the Music plays where she assisted in Music Direction was- AZDAK KA INSAFF, which was performed at different places. IN 1995, she performed in London, Washington & Canada, Before establishing the Academy, she worked as the Head of the Department of Music Section in a well-known school-Utpal Sanghvi High School. During the last many years at this School, she was instrumental in conducting Annual-Day functions with great success. Recently she composed & conducted a Qwali for Utpal Sanghavi High School on their 25th Silver Jubilee. Kaul established her own Music Academy by the name VINOD SUR SHRINGAAR in 1996. This Academy has been imparting extensive training & performance exposure to hundreds of students. The institute also prepares the students for Diploma Courses. Mrs. Kaul conducted complete Music for the Dance Ballet- RAMAYANA for Sur Jhankar Dance Academy. For Ms.Kaul, Music is her passion, and children in Music a Goal!
