Iran launches hypersonic missile attack on Israel, Tel Aviv on fire

Iran has launched a massive hypersonic missile attack on Israel. The capital Tel Aviv has been set on fire. The interceptor system failed to stop the hypersonic missile that hit the Israeli Defense Ministry headquarters.

Iranian missiles have been fired at various Israeli cities. Many of Israel's air defense systems have been disabled. Many buildings, including Prime Minister Netanyahu's official residence, have been destroyed.

Iran called the attack a "response to Israeli aggression," while Israel has declared a state of emergency. The entire country appears to have entered a state of war.

Accused in r@pe of 3-year-old girl, killed in encounter with police

Hours after the abduction and r@pe of a three-year-old girl sleeping with her mother under a bridge near Alambagh metro station, the accused was killed in an encounter with Lucknow police early Friday.

The accused, identified as Deepak Verma, a habitual offender with multiple criminal cases lodged across city police stations, was traced through CCTV footage that captured him fleeing with the child on a white scooter around 3.30 am on Thursday.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Zone) Ashish Srivastava said multiple police teams were formed immediately after the incident, and a reward of ₹1 lakh was announced for information leading to Verma’s arrest.

Based on the scooter's registration details and a tip-off, police intercepted Verma near Devi Kheda in Cantonment.

“When asked to surrender, he opened fire at the police team. In retaliatory firing, he sustained injuries,” said Srivastava. Verma was taken to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

PAKISTAN VIOLATES CEASEFIRE HOURS AFTER DEAL; DRONE ATTACK IN UDHAMPUR, AIR RAIDS TRIGGER BLACKOUTS

Just hours after a ceasefire agreement was announced between India and Pakistan, multiple ceasefire violations have been reported across Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab, raising tensions once again along the border.

According to a Hindustan Times report, Udhampur came under a drone attack following the violations. Air raid sirens were sounded in several locations and a blackout was swiftly enforced. Multiple explosions were also heard across Srinagar, where shelling and air raids were reported in several border districts.

In a separate development, blackouts have been re-imposed in Punjab’s Hoshiarpur and Ferozepur. Authorities had earlier called off blackout measures after the ceasefire understanding, but renewed hostilities prompted urgent enforcement once again.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, reacting to the developments, expressed shock at the violations, stating that air defence units had opened fire in Srinagar.
