Maher Mahila Mandal Organizes Special Get-Together and Award Ceremony to Mark International Women's Day
Ahmedabad: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, ‘Maher Mahila Mandal’ organized a grand get-together and award ceremony to boost women’s empowerment and honor the exceptional contributions of women to societal progress. The event featured a special interactive session where members of the Mandal participated with great enthusiasm, and the proceedings were successfully conducted by artist Kinjal Odedara (Ahmedabad) and Police Sub-Inspector Divya Odedara (Surat). Various engaging competitions and entertainment activities were organized, fostering a sense of kinship among the attendees and creating a vibrant atmosphere through their active participation. The highlight of the event was the 'Award Presentation Ceremony,' where talented women with outstanding achievements in various fields were honored for their hard work, latent talents, and societal contributions. The core organizing team included Madhuben Parbatbhai Odedara, Anjaliben Vinodbhai Odedara, and Kinjalben Vishalbhai Odedara, with significant support from the Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar Maher Mahila Committee as co-organizers. Prominent women who have achieved milestone success in diverse sectors were felicitated, including fashion designer Kiran Odedara, ITI Gandhinagar Foreman Instructor Deepti Arbham Modhwadia, Ayurvedic physician and beauty expert Dr. Dhwani Odedara, Bhavnaben Odedara from Junagadh, ICDS Inspector Parulben Modhwadia, Gandhinagar Deputy Collector Bhumi Keshwala, Surat PSI Divyaben Odedara, artist Kinjal Odedara, advocate Kanan Odedara, as well as Ilaben Karavadra and Dhara Khistariya. The primary objective of the program was to encourage women, celebrate their success, and strengthen their role in society, a goal that was successfully achieved through this event.
