Adostrophe’s Journey
Adostrophe is a startup (DPIIT recognised in AR/VR) that sells 360° cameras to professionals and consumers in India. Services include 360° photography, virtual tours and digital marketing for non profits.
Based off Bangalore, the Google Trusted Agency’s vision is to capture government places, rural locations, villages and small business in 360 degrees, so that the images can be uploaded in Google Maps’ Street View app. This media might help promote the places and possibly empower them economically.
Incorporated in Jan, 2017 as a digital marketing agency (Adostrophe for advertising apostrophe), the services included managing ad campaigns for global businesses as a Google Partner.
In 2018, Insta360 cameras were imported and sold in India as an authorised distributor. The pilot was a success and the scope for VR media was increasing exponentially by the day. As more Indian professionals and consumers expressed interest, the range of products expanded into other brands such as Labpano, KanDao, TECHE and Matterport.
