After a hiatus of more than a year, Kumud FC is pleased to announce its return to competitive football.

We would like to inform all football tournament organisers in and around Kalimpong, as well as organisers from neighbouring districts and regions, that Kumud FC is now open to invitations for participation in A-Division and Open Division tournaments.

The club returns with a renewed vision, a more structured system, and a balanced squad, committed to playing the game with professionalism, discipline, and the true spirit of football.

We look forward to renewing old rivalries, forging new friendships, and contributing positively to every competition we are privileged to be a part of.

The players and management of Kumudini Blues, Kumudini Homes Higher Secondary School, Kalimpong, express their heartfelt gratitude to a group of our esteemed ex-students who have generously come together to sponsor the team's lunch after our Semi-Final fixture on 4th August 2026. True footballing spirit is not only measured by what one achieves on the field, but also by the legacy one leaves behind.

With the intention of motivating and encouraging the young talents of Kumudini BLUES, former students and ex-players Mr. Vivek Gurung and Mr. Roshan have generously donated a number of footballs to strengthen the team's training sessions. Their thoughtful gesture reflects their deep love for the game and their unwavering bond with the footballing tradition of Kumudini.

Having once proudly worn the same colours and walked the very same path, they found themselves reliving those cherished memories as they watched the present generation of players in action. Inspired by the passion and potential of these young footballers, they chose to give back to the team that helped shape their own journey.

On behalf of the entire Kumudini BLUES family, the school, and the staff....... Samuel Kiran Singh the coach and mentor of the Kumudini BLUES extend our heartfelt gratitude to these exceptional former students and footballers.
