I deeply appreciate their 13 years of selfless service—caring for the helpless and homeless without expecting anything in return, and for running an old age home with so much love and dedication. Yesterday’s gathering was a Pre-Event Celebration of Helay Fest — aimed at creating awareness about the upcoming main event, happening for the very first time in the hills.

Villagers came forward with full support, shared their long-preserved heritage, and sang Rasia, the traditional Ropai (paddy planting) song. Some of the Helay activities were also introduced during the event.

The youths of Yok were filled with excitement and truly enjoyed being part of it.

Visited the stunning S***a Nursery in Rousey Bazar Kalimpong, Started by Soma S***a in 2014. She dedicated herself full-time in 2018, and with her husband and daughter's support, the nursery has become a renowned gem in Kalimpong.
