पेदोङ पञ्चायत समिति बोर्ड पुनर्गठनको माग,
भाजपाका सदस्यहरूद्वारा एसडीओलाई निवेदन

#कालेबुङ पेदोङ ब्लक पञ्चायत समितिका केही सदस्यहरूले वर्तमान पञ्चायत समिति बोर्डको नेतृत्वप्रति असन्तुष्टि व्यक्त गर्दै बोर्ड पुनर्गठनको माग गरेका छन्।
प्राप्त जानकारीअनुसार, पेदोङ ब्लकका हस्ताक्षरकर्ता पञ्चायत समिति सदस्यहरूले एसडीओ समक्ष निवेदन पेश गर्दै वर्तमान अध्यक्ष पुष्पा सुब्बाको नेतृत्व तथा बीजीपीएम पार्टीद्वारा गठित वर्तमान बोर्डप्रति आफूहरू सन्तुष्ट नरहेको बताएका छन्।
निवेदनमा भनिएको छ कि पेदोङ ब्लक पञ्चायत समितिका भाजपा पार्टीका सदस्यहरूले आपसी छलफलपछि वर्तमान बोर्डको पुनर्गठन आवश्यक रहेको निष्कर्षमा पुगेका छन्। यसै सन्दर्भमा उनीहरूले प्रशासनसमक्ष आवश्यक पहल गरी पेदोङ पञ्चायत समिति बोर्डको पुनर्गठन गरिदिन अनुरोध गरेका छन्।

In a massive win for the local sports and fitness community, Kalimpong’s very own Raj Bhitrikothi has taken the Sikkim bodybuilding circuit by storm. Hailing from Relli Road, Raj (son of Rajesh Bhitrikothi) showcased an incredible display of discipline, symmetry, and sheer muscle at the prestigious Mount Kabru Amateur Championship held in Gangtok, Sikkim.
Behind every champion is a mountain of sacrifice and a great mentor. Raj's golden run is the testament to his own unwavering dedication and the expert guidance of his coach at Pakhrin Fitness, who sculpted him into championship form.
Competing against some of the finest athletes in the region, Raj absolutely dominated the stage, bringing home a stellar haul of medals:
🏆 Gold Medal (🥇) – Seniors Men's Bodybuilding: Proving his elite muscle mass, conditioning, and stage presence.

दार्जीलिङ पहाडका नौवटा कलेजका अशिक्षण कर्मचारीहरूको साझा संगठन हिल कलेज कर्मचारी संघ, दार्जिलिङ हिल्स को वार्षिक साधारण सभा आज कालेबुङ कलेजको सभागृहमा सम्पन्न भयो। सरकारी सहायता प्राप्त तथा स्पोन्सर्ड कलेजहरूमा कार्यरत अशिक्षण कर्मचारीहरूको उक्त सभा क्लुनी महिला कलेजकी ममता राईको अध्यक्षतामा सम्पन्न भएको हो।
सभामा विशेष गरी राज्यमा सत्ता परिवर्तन भएपछि संगठनको भावी कार्यदिशा, कर्मचारीहरूको हकहित तथा विभिन्न समस्याबारे उपस्थित सदस्यहरूबीच व्यापक छलफल तथा विचार–विमर्श गरिएको थियो। साथै संगठनको तर्फबाट विभिन्न क्षेत्रमा योगदान पुर्‍याएका केही सदस्यहरूलाई सम्मानसमेत जनाइएको थियो। यसै सभाबीच पुरानो समितिलाई विघटन गरी नयाँ समिति गठन गरियो। उक्त विषयमा सचिव रवि प्रधानले दिए थप जानकारी।

कालेबुङ जिल्ला अदालतमा गत 20 वर्ष भन्दा अधिक समयदेखि कानून पेशामा रहेका अनि कालेबुङ बार एसोसिएसनको महासचिव जस्तो गरिमामय पदमा रहेका अधिवक्ता निलय कृष्ण राईलाई तिनको पेशागत दक्षता अनि जातिप्रतिको समर्पणको भावलाई कदर गर्दै गोर्खाल्याण्डको मूल मुद्दा बोकेर गठन प्रक्रियामा रहेको नयाँ राजनैतिक दलको दार्जिलिङ जिल्ला कानूनी सेल प्रभारीको रुपमा नियुक्त गरिएको छ। सेपेरेट स्टेट को-अर्डिनेशन कमिटी (एसएससीसी) अनि गोर्खा युथ एक्टिभिष्ट नेटवर्क (ज्ञान) का प्रमुख संयोजक द्वयको तर्फबाट आज तिनलाई आधिकारिक नियुक्ति पत्र प्रदान गरिएको छ।

Land Survey Conducted for Proposed Kalimpong Medical College at UVKV Site

Today, an important land survey and site inspection for the proposed Kalimpong Medical College was conducted at the UVKV land area in the presence of representatives from the District Magistrate's Office, CMOH Office, Land & Land Reforms Department, Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya (UVKV), and Bharatiya Janata Party representatives.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Bharat Chetri stated that the establishment of a Medical College in Kalimpong is a long-awaited dream of the people and a major step towards improving healthcare, medical education, and employment opportunities in the district. The survey marks a significant milestone in taking the project forward.
Shri Chetri expressed his gratitude to Hon'ble Member of Parliament Shri Raju Bista ji for his continuous efforts and unwavering support in pursuing developmental projects for the hills, particularly the demand for a Medical College in Kalimpong. He also thanked the Bharatiya Janata Party leadership and the BJP Government for their commitment towards strengthening healthcare infrastructure and ensuring balanced development in the region.
The people of Kalimpong have aspired for a Medical College for many years. Today's survey brings us one step closer to making this dream a reality, said MLA Bharat Chetri.
The proposed Medical College is expected to significantly enhance healthcare services, create educational opportunities for local students, generate employment, and contribute to the overall socio-economic development of Kalimpong district.

HPV निःशुल्क खोप अभियानको शुभारम्भ
भारत सरकार तथा पश्चिम बङ्गाल सरकारको संयुक्त पहलमा आज HPV (Human Papillomavirus) निःशुल्क खोप अभियान को शुभारम्भ गरिएको छ। यसै अवसरमा कालेबुङ जिल्ला अस्पतालमा जिल्ला प्रशासन, CMOH तथा जनप्रतिनिधिहरूको उपस्थितिमा कार्यक्रम सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न भयो। नर्सिङ स्कुल तथा नर्सिङ कलेजको सहकार्यमा आयोजित कार्यक्रममा १४ वर्ष उमेर समूहका २० जना किशोरीहरूलाई HPV खोप प्रदान गरिएको छ।
HPV (ह्युमन प्यापिलोमा भाइरस) एक सामान्य भाइरस हो, जसले भविष्यमा महिलाहरूमा गर्भाशयको मुखको क्यान्सर (Cervical Cancer) लगायत केही गम्भीर स्वास्थ्य समस्याहरू निम्त्याउन सक्छ। HPV विरुद्धको खोपले यस्तो जोखिमलाई धेरै हदसम्म कम गर्न मद्दत गर्दछ।
किन आवश्यक छ HPV खोप?
*गर्भाशयको मुखको क्यान्सरबाट सुरक्षा प्रदान गर्छ।
