I am delighted to learn that the workers of Longview Tea Estate have withdrawn their ongoing hunger strike today. This comes after their long struggle for justice.
I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the brave workers whose courage and unwavering determination ensured that their voices could not be ignored. I also sincerely thank every individual and organisation that stood in solidarity with them and supported their fight for justice.
My special gratitude to Hon'ble Chief Minister Sh. Suvendu Adhikari Ji and Hon'ble Minister of Labour Sh. Arjun Singh ji for their prompt and decisive intervention against those who had systematically deprived the workers of their rightful dues.
BJP government has demonstrated that those who exploit hardworking people will be held accountable. This marks a complete departure from the decades of indifference under the TMC government, whose repeated failures and inaction left tea garden workers to suffer without justice or relief.
Under the leadership of Hon'ble Chief Minister Sh. Suvendu Adhikari Ji, the BJP Government is committed to protecting the rights, dignity, and welfare of every tea garden workers.
