Nh10 update

NH-10 Closed: Kalimpong Administration Issues Alternative Routes for Light Vehicles

Due to the development of a critical crack at kilometer 6.8 on NH-10, the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) has ordered the closure of the highway between Sevoke (km 0) and Chittrey (km 30) until further notice.
This section is a key corridor connecting Siliguri to Gangtok, and its closure is expected to disrupt regular travel and transport to Sikkim.

In response, the Kalimpong Police has released details of three alternative routes available for light traffic and small vehicles:

Siliguri – Jorbungalow – Teesta Bazaar – Rangpo – Gangtok
Siliguri – Sevoke – Damdim – Gorubathan – Lava – Alagarah – Rangpo – Gangtok
Siliguri – Sevoke – Bagrakote – Lava – Alagarah – Rangpo – Gangtok

However, heavy vehicles are currently restricted from traveling to or from Gangtok due to the ongoing situation and road conditions.

NH10 update

राष्ट्रिय राजमार्ग १० आज ८ बजेदेखि ६ अगस्त सम्म पुर्ण रुपमा बन्द रहने ।

राष्ट्रिय राजमार्ग १० को सेती झोडा नजिक 6.8 किलोमिटरमा सडकको ठुला ठुला भाग गम्भीर रुपमा चर्किएपछि NHIDCL द्वारा जारी कार्यालय आदेशअनुसार सेभोके (किमी ०) देखि चित्रे (किमी ३०) खण्डसम्मको सडक तत्काल बन्द गरिएको छ।

सडक बन्दका कारण हाल गान्तोक आउने–जाने हलुका सवारी साधन (छोटो साइजका गाडी) का लागि निम्न तीन वैकल्पिक मार्ग उपलब्ध छन्:

1. सिलगढी – जोरबङ्लो – टिस्टा बजार – रम्फु – गान्तोक

2. सिलगढी – सेभोके – डामडिम – गोरुबथान – लाभा– अलगडा – रम्फु – गान्तोक

3. सिलगढी – सेभोके – बागराकोट – लाभा – अलगडा – रम्फु – गान्तोक (NH 717A हुँदै)

हालको अवस्थालाई मध्यनजर गर्दै गान्तोक जाने–आउने भारी सवारी साधन (हेभी भेहिकल) हरूको आवागमन पूर्ण रूपमा रोकिएको छ।

जनतालाई असुविधा नहोस् भन्नका लागि वैकल्पिक मार्गको प्रयोग गर्न अनुरोध गरिएको छ।
