“Bade Din Huye” from Love In Vietnam is a visual ballad of longing, reconnection, and the poetry of human connection across seasons.

From sun-kissed temples to candle-lit ballrooms, and windswept mountaintops to bustling art studios — every frame breathes emotion. It was an absolute pleasure to grade this beautifully directed sequence by Rahhat Shah Kazmi, and lensed with masterful sensitivity by DOP Dudley.

The results speak in whispers and flares—true to the story’s spirit.

Color is emotion, and in Dhadak 2, we wanted the grade to be a silent storyteller—shifting from muted realism to vibrant hues as the narrative unfolds. From earthy tones that reflect societal restraint & rebellion, to bursts of color in moments of love, each frame is designed to deepen the emotional impact of this powerful story on caste, identity, and belonging.

We’re grateful to director Shazia Iqbal for her narrative vision, cinematographer Sylvester Fonseca for this emotive frames, and the entire team of Dhadak 2 for the opportunity to be part of a film that speaks with such honesty and heart.

5 years of Bulbbul — a film that blurred the lines between folklore and subliminal narratives. Redchillies.color was proud to work on the grading of this hauntingly beautiful tale.

From the fiery reds of rage, myth, and transformation to the muted blues of memory, mystery, and melancholy — every frame was carefully graded to evoke the duality at the heart of the story. The color palette was more than aesthetic; it was narrative. It whispered, it screamed, and it lingered.
