​किसान भाइयों, आज के समय में हर किसान के मन में यह सवाल ज़रूर आता है कि क्या पारंपरिक तरीके से खुले खेत (Open Field) में खेती करना बेहतर है, या फिर आधुनिक तकनीक यानी संरक्षित खेती (Protected Cultivation/Polyhouse) को अपनाना चाहिए?
​दोनों ही पद्धतियों की अपनी खूबियाँ और चुनौतियां हैं:
​खुला खेत: यहाँ फसल सीधे प्रकृति के संपर्क में रहती है, लेकिन कीट और बदलते मौसम का जोखिम हमेशा बना रहता है।
​संरक्षित खेती (पॉलीहाउस): यहाँ हम बेमौसम फसलें ले सकते हैं और पैदावार भी कई गुना बढ़ जाती है, लेकिन इसके प्रबंधन में बारीकियों का ध्यान रखना पड़ता है।
