Bank Closed for 16 Days in January Check Out the List of Bank Holidays in January 2024
Banks will be closed on both second and fourth Saturdays well every Sunday throughout year according to Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The RBI has categorized bank holidays into three types: Negotiable Instruments Act, Real-Time Gross Settlement Holiday and Banks’ Closing of Accounts.
If you’re wondering about today’s (January 1, 2024) bank holiday status RBI has released list of bank holidays, indicating that banking operations will be shut on first day of the new year in only few states. Despite these bank holidays account holders can still use net banking and mobile banking services to manage some of their banking tasks.
