Wore my Grandma's saree 🥻🥻🥻

This deep red crepe saree with tiny gold butis and a mad, psychedelic, multicolour palla stole the show at a cocktail function in Karnal.
I couldn’t find the original blouse, and the one I got stitched didn’t fit right, and I wasn’t a fan of the pearl lace either. No time to fix it, so I just went for it… and honestly, you can’t even tell from the pictures how uncomfortable it was!
I guess fashion wins 💁‍♀️

If you know where I can find sarees with bold, vintage-style pallus like this, hit me up.
Not Satya Paul.
Internet, I'm counting on you.

June journals from the hills 🛣️🌿
A summer roadtrip through the folds of Uttarakhand !

1. Shiva watching over in the silence of Taknaur
2. The road ahead bloomed with purple jacarandas
3. Bhagirathi flowed beside us guiding the way
4. Sukkhi village peeked out like a quiet dream
5. Drove into Harsil, through old wooden homes, sleepy shops, and timeless stillness
6. In Bagori, a goat-head carved in wood caught my eye
7. Crossed the iconic Lanka Bridge enroute Gangotri
8. View from The Lanka Bridge, where the river slices through a deep, rugged gorge, framed by wild cliffs and pine walls
9. Harsil valley wide open, like mother nature's arms
10. Bagori village seen from afar
11. Onwards to Kanatal, empty roads and moody skies.
12. A quiet mud resort, hugged by clouds
13. Morning came misty, just the way Kanatal likes
14. A walk to Landour Bakehouse, warm smells and cool air
15. Picked some mountain-made memories from a local shop
16. Reached Rishikesh, sipping iced tea by the Ganga, Lakshman Jhula in sight
17. And it all ended sitting by the Ganga. Grateful and Grounded!

🌲🍪 ☕️
Somewhere between rusted vans, misty bends, quiet chapels, chai at Char Dukan, and warm bakes from the hillside, Landour whispered stories I didn’t know I needed to hear.

* Sighhh *

I just want to spend a few slow days in this quaint little place, reading books with my head in the clouds 🙃☁️📖

If I am not wrong that’s Bhagirathi II, just casually flexing.
I wasn’t the one riding, but somehow this frame felt like freedom, wild, raw, and watched over by the quiet strength of giants like Bhagirathi II.

Eco Village : Shallin, Kullu 💚

Nestled high where mountains rise,
Wrapped in clouds and endless skies,
Shaleen whispers, soft and true,
A haven bathed in morning dew.

At 2100 meters high,
Where cedar and deodar touch the sky,
Apple orchards in rows align,
Oak trees whisper, intertwine.

In Kath Kuni's timeless art,
Stone and timber play their part,
Homes that echo ancient ways,
Stories of forgotten days.

Here, nature's harmony prevails,
Eco-conscious, Shaleen trails,
A model village, green and pure,
Sustainable, its future sure.

Oh, Shaleen, in Kullu’s heart,
A jewel of Himachal’s art,
May your beauty ever shine,
A paradise by grand design ✨️ 👌🏻
