राजा रघुवंशी हत्याकांड में शनिवार (21 जून) को शिलांग की जिला सत्र न्यायालय ने मुख्य आरोपियों सोनम रघुवंशी और राज कुशवाहा को 13 दिनों की न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया है. पुलिस अधिकारियों के अनुसार, मामले की जांच कर रही विशेष जांच टीम (SIT) ने दोनों आरोपियों की पुलिस रिमांड की अवधि समाप्त होने के बाद उसकी अवधि बढ़ाने की मांग नहीं की. इसके बाद अदालत ने उन्हें 13 दिन की न्यायिक हिरासत में भेजने का आदेश दिया.

वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस में चले लात-घूंसे, भाजपा विधायक के समर्थकों पर यात्रियों से मारपीट का आरोप
दिल्ली से भोपाल आ रही वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन में मारपीट की घटना सामने आई है। झांसी रेलवे स्टेशन पर ट्रेन के एक्जीक्यूटिव कोच में सवार एक यात्री को 7-8 लोगों ने पीटा। यूपी के झांसी के बबीना से भाजपा विधायक राजीव सिंह के समर्थकों पर इस मारपीट का आरोप लगा है।बताया जा रहा है कि झांसी जिले के बबीना विधानसभा क्षेत्र से भाजपा विधायक राजीव सिंह अपनी पत्नी और बेटे के साथ दिल्ली से वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस के कोच ई-2 में सवार हुए थे। राजीव सिंह की सीट संख्या 8 थी, जबकि उनकी पत्नी कमली सिंह 50 नंबर सीट पर और बेटा श्रेयांश सिंह 51 नंबर की सीट पर बैठा था।ट्रेन में सफर कर रहे यात्रियों ने बताया कि राज प्रकाश नाम का यात्री खिड़की की तरफ सीट नंबर 49 पर बैठा था। विधायक ने उसे अपनी सीट नंबर 8 पर जाने को कहा। राज प्रकाश ने अपनी सीट बदलने से इनकार कर दिया। इसके बाद जैसे ही ट्रेन झांसी रेलवे स्टेशन पहुंची, कोच में 7 से 8 लोग आ गए और सीट नंबर 49 पर बैठे राज प्रकाश की पिटाई कर दी। यात्री की लात-घूंसों से पिटाई की गई। जिससे उसकी नाक भी टूट गई।

KATHUA; 14 MARCH; Continuing its efforts against drug menace, J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Sh. Shobhit Saksena -IPS* today recovered approx. 8.83 grams of He**in (Chitta) like narcotics in the jurisdictional area of PP Nagri, 03 drug peddlers arrested.
On 14-03-2025, acting on the intelligent input received through a reliable source, a Police team led by IC PP Nagri PSI Ravinder Thakur under the guidance of DySP Hqrs Kathua Sh. Ravinder Singh & SHO PS Kathua Insp. Sandeep Chib laid down a special naka/ checking in its jurisdictional area and apprehended three persons namely 1. Rajeshwar Singh S/o Jarmaz Singh R/o Ward No-12 kathua 2. Abhishek Sharma S/o Anil Sharma R/o Ward No-6 kathua 3. Yudhvir meets Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh in Delhi, discusses key issues concerning J&K youth

New Delhi, Jan 19: Senior BJP leader and MLA Jammu East, Yudhvir Sethi, today met Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh and held a detailed discussion on several issues concerning the youth of Jammu & Kashmir. The meeting focused on employment opportunities, skill development, and enhancing the role of premier educational institutions in shaping the future of young aspirants.

During the discussion, Sethi emphasized the need for greater opportunities in higher education and skill-based training to empower the youth of J&K. He also highlighted the significant role played by IIM Jammu and IIT Jammu in transforming the education landscape of the region.

Stressing the need for further expansion and support for these premier institutions, he advocated for increased student intake, more industry collaborations, and enhanced placement opportunities.

*J&K POLICE KATHUA NABBED ONE DRUG PEDDLER WITH CHARAS LIKE SUBSTANCE*

KATHUA;19 JAN : J&K Police Kathua while continuing its "War on Drugs" putting concrete efforts to eradicate the drugs menace from the society and in consequence J&K Police Kathua recovered/seized approx. 85 Grams of Charas (Cannabis) like narcotics Near Dagger Bridge of PS Bani and one drug peddler was arrested.

On 19/01/2025 an information had been received at PS Bani regarding the trade of Narcotics and psychotropic substance Charas(Cannabis) like contraband substance in Bani area. Acting swiftly, police team of PS Bani during naka checking Near Dhagger Bridge Bani apprehended one suspicious person namely Vinod Singh S/o Parmi R/o Kilore Asso Bani who was indulged in illegal smuggling/selling of Charas like contraband and selling drugs to the youth of Bani area was arrested.
During frisking approx. 85 gms of Charas like narcotics and psychotropic substance was recovered from his possession which got seized and 01 drug peddler arrested on spot.In this regard a case FIR No. 10/2025 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Bani and further investigation has been set into motion accordingly.
