KATHUA; 28 OCT :- J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma -IPS* has recovered 7.67 grams of He**in(Chitta) like substance near link road Tarnah, Dyalachak area of PS Hiranagar and two drug peddlers arrested and seized the vehicle(motorbike) involved.

On 27/10/2025 a Police team of PS Hiranagar led by Insp. Ashish Sharma under the close supervision of *SP Ops Kathua Sh. Mukund Tibrewal IPS and SDPO Border Sh. Dheeraj Katoch* established a routine naka near link road Tarnah, Dyalachak area to keep a check on suspicious movement and illegal activities.

During naka duty, the police party noticed two persons en routed on motorbike(Super Splendor) bearing Reg. No. JK08H-7320 under suspicious manner. On being stopped and questioned, they disclosed their identity as 1. Manish Singh S/o Kamal Singh 2. Sabdeep Singh S/o Shankar Singh Both R/o Karyara Tehsil Hiranagar . Upon their personal search, *7.67 grams* of He**in Chitta like substance have been recovered from their possession.

Accordingly, a case FIR No. 149/2025 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Hiranagar , and the accused were taken into custody on the spot. The recovered contraband has been seized as per legal procedures, and further investigation is in progress to trace the source and linkages of the narcotic supply.

हीरानगर में भी चलेगा पीला पंजा
डीसी कठुआ ने अवैध कब्जों व निर्माणों पर लगाई रोक, दिए सख्त निर्देश

कठुआ, 28 अक्तूबरः कठुआ के उपायुक्त राजेश शर्मा (JKAS) ने जिले में नदियों व जलाशयों के किनारे हो रहे अवैध कब्जों और अनधिकृत निर्माणों को रोकने के लिए सख्त निर्देश जारी किए हैं।

उन्होंने कहा कि जम्मू-कश्मीर वाटर रिसोर्सेज एक्ट, 2010 के तहत किसी भी प्रकार का अतिक्रमण या निर्माण कार्य कानूनी अपराध है और ऐसे मामलों में सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

उपायुक्त ने सभी संबंधित विभागों को आदेश दिया है कि वे जिलेभर में स्थित प्राकृतिक जल स्रोतों, नालों और खालों की सुरक्षा व संरक्षण सुनिश्चित करें ताकि जल प्रवाह में कोई बाधा न आए और पर्यावरण संतुलन बना रहे।

उन्होंने यह भी निर्देश दिए कि यदि कहीं भी अवैध निर्माण या अतिक्रमण पाया जाए तो तुरंत उसे हटाने की कार्रवाई की जाए और जिम्मेदार व्यक्तियों पर उचित कानूनी कदम उठाए जाएं।

गुडा मेहता में सड़क मरम्मत कार्य पर ग्रामीणों का हंगामा, किया काम बंद — तारकोल को भी अपने हाथों से हटाया

(हीरानगर) आज गांव गुडा मेहता में चल रहे सड़क मरम्मत कार्य को लेकर ग्रामीणों ने विरोध जताया। ग्रामीणों का आरोप है कि सड़क की रिपेयरिंग में घटिया क्वालिटी का सामान इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा था। मौके पर पहुंचे लोगों ने न केवल काम रुकवाया बल्कि सड़क पर डाली जा रही तारकोल को भी अपने हाथों से उखाड़ दिया।

बनी के मजीरी पार्क में बाबा साहब डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर की प्रतिमा खंडित — डीडीसी संदीप मजोत्रा ने की कड़ी निंदा, दोषियों पर देशद्रोह की कार्रवाई की मांग

बनी के मजीरी पार्क में स्थापित बाबा साहब डॉ. बी.आर. अंबेडकर जी की प्रतिमा को कुछ असामाजिक तत्वों ने खंडित कर दिया है। इस घटना से क्षेत्र में गुस्से का माहौल है।

डीडीसी नगरी, एर संदीप मजोत्रा ​​ने इस शर्मनाक कृत्य की कड़ी निंदा करते हुए कहा कि यह कार्य न केवल समाज की एकता पर प्रहार है, बल्कि बाबा साहब के विचारों का भी अपमान है। उन्होंने एसएसपी कठुआ से बात कर ऐसे गंदी मानसिकता वाले लोगों को जल्द से जल्द गिरफ्तार करने और उन पर देशद्रोह की धाराओं के तहत सख्त कार्रवाई करने की मांग की है।

जानकारी के अनुसार, यह प्रतिमा कुछ ही समय पहले मजीरी पार्क में स्थापित की गई थी, जिसका उद्घाटन भी अभी नहीं हुआ था। स्थानीय लोगों ने भी इस घटना पर गहरी नाराज़गी जताई है और प्रशासन से दोषियों को कड़ी सजा देने की अपील की है।

हीरानगर: पिछले कल एसडीएम हीरानगर फूलैल सिंह ने विभिन्न सरकारी दफ्तरों का औचक निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने न सिर्फ कर्मचारियों की हाजिरी चेक की, बल्कि उन लोगों से भी मुलाकात की जो अपने काम के लिए दफ्तरों में आए थे। मौके पर ही जनता की समस्याएं सुनीं और संबंधित अधिकारियों को तुरंत समाधान के निर्देश दिए।
एसडीएम ने कहा कि जनसेवा में लापरवाही बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी।

SDM Hirnagar chaired BHD meeting under Mission Yuva:
A meeting of Business Help Desk was chaired by SDM Hiranagar Phulail Singh JKAS for effective implementation of Mission Yuva scheme in Sub Division Hiranagar.
The meeting was attended by the members of BHD , Managers of JK Bank ,entrepreneurs, new applicants and other stake holders .
All the applications pending at BHD level under nano category were examined and the hald holding of applicants was done by the committee members .
A total of 29 applications were examined during the meeting .
The cases shall be send to SDBU for further processing under the schemes .
The SDM also discussed the issues of the existing entrepreneurs and assured them all kind of held for success of their business units .

*SSP KATHUA Ms MOHITA SHARMA- IPS TOUR UPPER KATHUA, HELD SECURITY REVIEW MEETING WITH ARMY/CRPF AND POLICE OFFICER OF UPPER KATHUA*

In an effort to further strengthen the security grid of District Kathua and review the existing security setup and establishments, SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma, IPS, accompanied by SP (Operations) Upper Kathua Sh. Aumer Iqbal, JKPS, SDPO Billawar Sh. Neeraj Padyar, JKPS, and other officers of Upper Kathua, undertook a comprehensive tour of Billawar, Ramkot, Nangala, and Machedi areas.

During the visit, SSP Kathua chaired a high-level security review meeting with Army, CRPF, and other sister security agencies operating in Upper Kathua.
The meeting focused on critical issues such as infiltration, movement of suspicious elements, presence of anti-national elements (ANEs), domination of infiltration routes, strategic deployment of forces, and inter-agency coordination and synergy.Officers from the Army and CRPF presented a detailed briefing covering their deployment patterns, winter strategies, identified infiltration routes, areas of responsibility, and the mechanisms adopted during counter-insurgency (CI) operations.

The SSP emphasized the need for enhanced coordination among all security agencies to effectively counter potential threats and ensure peace and stability in the region.Following the meeting, SSP Kathua visited the SOG Camp at Machedi, where she interacted with personnel from SOG Machedi, SOG Dugaini, SOG Katli, and officers of Machedi Outpost.

During the interaction, she directed officers to maintain close surveillance on Over Ground Workers (OGWs) and their associates, stressing the importance of regular CASOs (Cordon and Search Operations), patrolling, and Long Range Patrols (LRPs) in vulnerable areas and locations.

SSP Kathua further instructed all officers to remain vigilant and proactive to prevent any anti-national activities. She underscored the importance of better coordination and planning among all ranks to achieve zero-tolerance towards terrorism. SSP Kathua reiterated that Kathua Police is committed to maintaining peace and security across the district and that there will be no leniency towards any anti-national elements.
