THE YOUNG JUNCTION CAREERS

THE YOUNG JUNCTION CAREERS The Young Junction is an organisation that offers education related and counselling services. we also releases a magazine named The Young Junction Careers

The Young Junction is an organization that came into existence owing to the extreme zeal of a group of youngsters to do something different that could connect them to the youth especially in the rural area. The company started up by the name of “Customer value and Services” in 2010. The proprietors travelled the length of rural Nagpur to create an awareness and enthusiasm for education and learnin

g among the youth. Next they organized seminars in the rural areas where they brought the best counselors from the city to motivate and guide the rural young. Realizing that the young boys and girls are hardly prepared to face higher education after class XII, they organized a 45days residential training program for the XII appeared students. __ students attended and successfully completed the program. During this program the students were taught the basics of math and science to strengthen their fundamentals by the best teachers from the city. In addition the students were trained to give effective presentation and were motivated to work on their personality and knowledge development. A residential program of this extent at a very nominal cost to the student was the first of its kind. Among the many efforts to help more and more students to improve the quality of their learning and to make them aware of the education scenario and the multitude of career options, they applied for a license for publication. Thus a new company was born “THE YOUNG JUNCTION”
The first initiative of this new company is to get the best of guidance and direction from Central India’s pioneer career counselor and International Life coach and to reach it to as many parents, teachers and students as possible. At Young Junction, the belief is that every student has the right to select a career that would give him/ her best of life they wish for. In this process, the availability of information in a concise form is the best tool that the parents and teachers can have to guide the students at the right time. Hence a great effort is put into not only compiling the right information, but also to reach it to maximum number of students, parents and teachers. The Young Junction is an initiative of a few youth but it is the voice within all of us which wants the best for our children and our students.

BEYOND IQ

We ran a month long camp in Nagpur & rural Nagpur aimed at developing emotional intelligence and social skills in students and teachers. It started from Katol on 21-01-2019 from Nagar Parishad School and Banarasidas Ruiya school, Katol. Our work has Impacted more than 300 students of Katol. In this regard, an NGO named "Light Up" from Delhi came to Katol for an initiative by Dr. Vikas mahatme (M.P Rajya Sabha) brought by UMANG FOUNDATION with Skill Partner, PRAVINYA HUB & Youth Partner, THE YOUNG JUNCTION CAREERS. Nagar Parishad Katol greatly helped this cause.

In India, su***de and depression is the leading cause of deaths in the 15-39 year age group. There is a need to recognise the role of social and emotional well-being in the over all development of individuals and this should start from our school education.

Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitude, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions.

UMANG educational and multipurpose society, in collaboration with BEYOND IQ will work together to advocate the need for a "centre of emotional intelligence" and a social emotional learning curriculum in all levels of education.

Debuji Zhingraji Janarkar (23 February 1876 – 20 December 1956), popularly known as Sant Gadge Maharaj or Gadge Baba, was a saintly social reformer, a wandering mendicant who held weekly festivals with the help of his disciples across what is now the Indian state of Maharashtra. His reforms and visions for villages in India are still a source of inspiration for various political parties and non-government organizations. He conducted his discourses in the form of "Kirtans" in which he would emphasize values like service to humanity and compassion. During his Kirtans, he would educate people against blind faiths and rituals. He would use Dohas (couplets of a song) by Saint Kabir in his discourses. The Government of Maharashtra started the Sant Gadge baba Gram Swachata Abhiyan project in 2000-01 in his honour. This programme awards prizes to villagers, who maintain clean villages. In addition, the Government of India instituted a National Award for Sanitation and Water in his honour.
The University of Amravati has also been named in his honour.

Meaning:
O Holy Rivers Ganga and Yamuna, and also Godavari, Saraswati, Narmada, Sindhu and Kaveri; Please be Present in this Water Near Me and make it Holy.
The steady flow of the clean, fresh water of rivers is essential to human life and a whole host of aquatic species. Rivers and their tributaries are the veins of the planet, pumping freshwater to wetlands and lakes and out to sea. They flush nutrients through aquatic ecosystems, keeping thousands of species alive, and help sustain fisheries worth billions of dollars.
Rivers are also the lifeblood of human civilizations. They supply water to cities, farms, and factories. Rivers carve shipping routes around the globe, and provide us with food, recreation, and energy.
Over the course of human history, waterways have been manipulated for irrigation, urban development, navigation, and energy. Dams and levees now alter their flow, interrupting natural fluctuations and the breeding and feeding patterns of fish and other river creatures. Technology and engineering have changed the course of nature, and now we are looking for ways to restore flow and function to the planet’s circulatory system. The simplest solution to rejuvenate India’s rivers is to maintain a minimum of one kilometer tree cover on riversides.Forest trees can be planted on government land and tree-based agriculture brought in on farm land. This will ensure our rivers are fed throughout the year by the moist soil. This will also reduce floods, drought and soil loss, and increase farmers’ incomes.
