On February 28, 2025, VIT Community Radio conducted its seventh Atal Vayo Abhyuday Yojana (AVYAY) narrowcasting session at Mudhiyor Balar Kudumba Grama Pannai, Kasam, Katpadi. In collaboration with the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment and the Community Radio Association, the session focused on Elderline 14567, cataract treatment, and a balanced nutritional food diet for senior citizens. The initiative aimed to spread awareness and provide essential health and welfare information to elderly residents, empowering them with the knowledge needed for a healthier and more secure life.
