DC Reasi Reviews Preparations for Har Ghar Tiranga, 150 Years of Vande Mataram

REASI, AUGUST 8: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Kumar Abhishek, chaired a meeting to review the preparations for the Har Ghar Tiranga-2026 campaign and the commemoration of 150 years of Vande Mataram (Phase III), scheduled to be observed from August 9 to 17, 2026.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner Reasi reviewed the detailed action plan for the campaign and assessed the preparedness of various departments for organizing a series of patriotic, cultural and public-participation activities across the district.

He directed all concerned departments to ensure effective implementation of the campaign across all blocks, panchayats, educational institutions, government offices and prominent public places. He called for organizing Tiranga rallies involving students, youth, NCC cadets and people from all sections of society. He also stressed the need for Tiranga-themed decorations and illumination of government offices, markets and other prominent locations.

He further directed to organize Tiranga Rangoli competitions, Tiranga Rakhi-making workshops, quiz and letter-writing competitions, along with mass singing of Vande Mataram and other suitable patriotic cultural programmes in schools, colleges and public places. He emphasized maximum participation of students and youth to strengthen the spirit of patriotism and collective celebration.

Reviewing the arrangements for the National Flag, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned department to ensure the sale and distribution of Tirangas through Self-Help Groups and other designated channels. He urged departments and institutions to encourage citizens to participate in the ‘Selfie with Tiranga’ campaign and upload their photographs on the official Har Ghar Tiranga portal. He stressed real-time reporting of events and coordinated publicity to ensure maximum visibility and participation across the district.

He further directed all concerned departments to make necessary arrangements for the district-level Tiranga rallies and other activities in accordance with the prescribed schedule. ADC Rakesh Kumar, ACR Nitin Verma, GM DIC, ACR and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.

CEO Shrine Board reviews arrangements ahead of Independence Day celebrations at Katra
Katra, August 8: With a view to ensuring enhanced security for seamless pilgrimage and smooth conduct of the forthcoming National event, a comprehensive review meeting was held today chaired by Shri Sachin Kumar Vaishya, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board at the Spiritual Growth Centre (SGC), Katra to take stock of the preparedness and arrangements.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the arrangements for the Independence Day Celebrations, which will be organized at the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Sports Complex, Katra wherein, Chief Executive Officer, SMVDSB will unfurl the National Flag and inspect the parade comprising contingents of the JKP, CRPF, Shrine Security, NCC and children from different schools in the region.
The meeting also reviewed the arrangements for the cultural programme to be presented during the celebrations. It was decided that the programme would be designed in keeping with the spirit of the national occasion and would also highlight socially relevant themes such as “Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan”.
The concerned quarters were also directed to ensure that proper and timely invitations are extended to prominent citizens, local representatives, stakeholders and residents of Katra so as to facilitate wider public participation in the national celebrations.
The meeting laid emphasis on strengthening security arrangements in and around the Shrine area, Katra town and the Sports Complex, besides ensuring close coordination among all stakeholders for the safety and security of pilgrims and the smooth conduct of the national event. The concerned agencies were directed to maintain heightened vigilance and undertake necessary preventive measures
The meeting also stressed regular security drills to prevent impersonation and ensure that only duly registered and authorized service providers are engaged in pilgrimage-related services. The need for enhanced area domination, surveillance and preventive security measures was also discussed.
It was also decided that additional security personnel will be deployed at identified vulnerable and strategic locations, while technology-enabled monitoring through the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) and other available surveillance systems will be utilised for real-time monitoring and prompt response to any emerging situation.
The Superintendent of Police, Katra and Commandant, CRPF apprised the meeting of the security arrangements being put in place and assured coordinated deployment of personnel and resources for maintaining a secure environment during the celebrations.
The meeting further stressed the importance of close and continuous coordination among the stakeholders for crowd regulation, traffic management, parking, emergency response, communication and prompt handling of any exigency.
The meeting was attended by SSP, Reasi; Addl. CEO, Jt. CEO, SMVDSB; SDM, Katra; Dy. CEO, Asstt. CEOs, SMVDSB; Tehsildar, Bhawan & SMVDSB; ACF, SMVDSB; SDPOs of Katra and Bhawan, besides senior officers of the Army, Police, CRPF, Railways, Fire & Emergency Services, intelligence agencies and other concerned departments......

अब मांगलिक कार्यों के लिए नहीं करना होगा इंतजार

वर्ष 2026 में कब-कब हैं विवाह के शुभ मुहूर्त, जानिए

जम्मू-कश्मीर :- ज्योतिष शास्त्र के अनुसार विवाह सहित अन्य मांगलिक कार्य तभी संपन्न किए जाते हैं, जब गुरु एवं शुक्र तारा उदित हों तथा शुभ मुहूर्त उपलब्ध हो। इस संबंध में श्री कैलख ज्योतिष एवं वैदिक संस्थान ट्रस्ट के अध्यक्ष एवं ज्योतिषाचार्य महंत रोहित शास्त्री (स्टेट अवॉर्डी) ने बताया कि विवाह एवं अन्य शुभ संस्कारों के लिए गुरु और शुक्र तारा का उदित होना अत्यंत आवश्यक माना गया है।

उन्होंने बताया कि वर्ष 2026 में गुरु (तारा) 15 जुलाई को सायं 7:27 बजे पश्चिम दिशा में अस्त हुआ था तथा 9 रविवार अगस्त को रात्रि 9:54 बजे पूर्व दिशा में उदित होगा।

महंत शास्त्री ने स्पष्ट किया कि गुरु एवं शुक्र के अस्त काल में सगाई (मंगनी) जैसे कार्यक्रम शुभ मुहूर्त में किए जा सकते हैं। इनमें किसी प्रकार का दोष नहीं माना जाता।

उन्होंने बताया कि "तारा डूबने" अथवा "तारा चढ़ने" का अर्थ खगोलशास्त्र की दृष्टि से ग्रह का अस्त अथवा उदित होना है। जैसे सूर्य का उदय और अस्त होता है, उसी प्रकार ग्रह भी दृष्टिगोचर अथवा अदृश्य होते हैं।

भारतीय ज्योतिष में गुरु एवं शुक्र को तारा कहा जाता है।
उन्होंने कहा कि गुरु एवं शुक्र के अस्त काल में विवाह, गृहप्रवेश, मुंडन संस्कार, शपथ ग्रहण, शिलान्यास, व्रत-उद्यापन, यज्ञोपवीत संस्कार तथा अन्य मांगलिक कार्य पूर्णतः वर्जित माने गए हैं। स्वयंवर के लिए भी यह काल उपयुक्त नहीं माना जाता।

उन्होंने बताया कि पुनर्विवाह की स्थिति में गुरु-शुक्र अस्त, वेध, लग्न शुद्धि अथवा विवाह-विहित मास का दोष नहीं लगता। इसी प्रकार पुराने अथवा जीर्णोद्धार किए गए मकानों में गृहप्रवेश हेतु गुरु-शुक्र अस्त काल में प्रवेश करना भी निषिद्ध नहीं माना गया है।

वर्ष 2026 में विवाह के शुभ मुहूर्त

देवशयन (चातुर्मास) के उपरांत जम्मू-कश्मीर, हिमाचल प्रदेश, पंजाब, हरियाणा एवं राजस्थान में विवाह के शुभ मुहूर्त निम्नानुसार उपलब्ध रहेंगे।

अगस्त
13, 18, 20, 22, 23, 24, 25, 29 एवं 30 अगस्त।

सितंबर
3, 4, 5, 12, 13, 14 एवं 21 सितंबर।

शुक्र अस्त: 12 अक्टूबर से 29 अक्टूबर, 2026 तक।

नवंबर
2, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 21, 22, 23, 25 एवं 26 नवंबर।

दिसंबर
2, 3, 4, 5, 11 एवं 12 दिसंबर।

महंत रोहित शास्त्री ने कहा कि विवाह के लिए केवल तिथि ही पर्याप्त नहीं होती, बल्कि वार, नक्षत्र, योग, करण एवं लग्न का भी विशेष महत्व होता है। इसलिए किसी भी तिथि का चयन करने से पूर्व वर-वधू की कुंडली का मिलान तथा उनकी व्यक्तिगत ग्रह-दशाओं का विचार अवश्य किया जाना चाहिए। इससे वैवाहिक जीवन में सुख, समृद्धि एवं संतुलन बना रहता है।

उन्होंने कहा कि आधुनिक समय में अनेक लोग केवल सुविधा के अनुसार विवाह की तिथि निर्धारित कर लेते हैं, जबकि यदि विवाह संस्कार शास्त्रसम्मत शुभ मुहूर्त में संपन्न किया जाए तो उसका सकारात्मक प्रभाव जीवनभर बना रहता है। उन्होंने अभिभावकों एवं विवाह योग्य युवक-युवतियों से आग्रह किया कि वर्ष 2026 के शुभ विवाह मुहूर्तों की जानकारी समय रहते प्राप्त कर विधि-विधान से विवाह संस्कार संपन्न करें।
