School of Business Studies, Central University of Jammu Hosts “Deeksharambh-2025” Induction Programme for MBA & Integrated BBA-MBA Students

Jammu, 30 Sept 2025: The School of Business Studies, Central University of Jammu organized a warm Induction Programme “Deeksharambh-2025,” to welcome the incoming batch of MBA and Integrated BBA-MBA students at Brigadier Rajinder Singh Auditorium, Central University of Jammu. The programme was aimed to acquaint students with the academic ethos of the University as well as opportunities in the corporate sector.

The ceremony commenced with the floral tribute to the War Heroes and invoking the Goddess Saraswati. Prof. Jaya Bhasin, former Dean, School of Business Studies and Head, Department of HRM & OB, welcomed the august gathering, extending greetings to the students and highlighting the academic ethos of the institution.

Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu delivered the presidential address where he spoke about the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in redefining business and education, urging students to become tech-enabled leaders with a strong ethical foundation. He strongly emphasized the role of values towards building a strong foundation for self and Nation at large.

The program featured insightful addresses by distinguished guests. The Chief Guest, Mr. Jagdish Singh, JKAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Samba, delivered a powerful and inspiring address to the newly admitted students. He emphasized the timeless values of discipline, integrity, and dedication to public service, urging the young learners to cultivate these traits from the very beginning of their academic journey. Drawing from his rich administrative experience, he shared real-life examples of eminent leaders who rose to prominence not merely through talent, but through consistent effort and strong moral conduct. He encouraged the students to set clear goals, remain grounded in humility, and work with sincerity, assuring them that success naturally follows those who stay committed to their principles. His words left a profound impact on the audience, instilling a sense of purpose and responsibility in the future professionals.

Sh. Sanjay Puri, Chairman & Managing Director, PBI (India) Private Limited, captivated the audience with his insightful address. He narrated his professional journey, highlighting the milestones, challenges, and learnings that shaped his path. He urged the students to approach their academic pursuits with clarity of purpose, dedication, and resilience. Emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and ethical leadership, he encouraged them to transform every opportunity into a stepping stone toward success. Following this, Ms. Urmil Lata, Deputy General Manager, NABARD J&K, delivered an enlightening session on the pivotal role of rural credit in nation-building. She elaborated on the frameworks of agricultural lending and funding mechanisms, and explained how financial inclusion empowers grassroots communities. She also shed light on the current challenges faced in the agricultural and rural financing ecosystem, inspiring students to explore impactful careers in the development and banking sectors

Prof. Neelika Arora, Dean, School of Business Studies, delivered the formal Vote of Thanks, emphasizing the importance of dynamic leadership and emotional resilience in today’s competitive landscape. She also urged students to walk on the path of truthfulness and integrity as the foundation for both academic and professional success.

As part of the ceremony, Induction Kits were distributed to the newly inducted students by the dignitaries. The event concluded with the National Anthem, resonating with pride and unity. The event was attended by all the esteemed faculty members of the School of Business Studies. The Stage was conducted by Ms. Sumiran Maheshwari, Research Scholar of School of Business Studies.

The program successfully set a positive and inspiring tone for the academic journey, seamlessly blending tradition with a futuristic vision.

DC Reasi Reviews Adi Karma Yogi Abhiyan Progress

44 Adi Sewa Kendras Operational in Tribal Villages: DC Reasi

Reasi, 30 September 2025: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Ms. Nidhi Malik, IAS, today chaired a comprehensive review meeting with all Block Development Officers (BDOs) to assess the progress of the Adi Karma Yogi Abhiyan across the district. The Abhiyan, scheduled from 24th September to 2nd October, aims at inclusive tribal development through grassroots participation and planning.

The meeting reviewed key activities under the Abhiyan, including the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) exercises, Transect Walks, habitation-level discussions, village-level meetings, and identification of gaps. A central focus was on the preparation of Village Action Plans (Vision 2030), ensuring that tribal communities actively contribute to the planning process.

While taking detailed reports from each BDO, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need to intensify efforts at the grassroots level and to ensure maximum public participation in activities such as transect walks and the upcoming Special Gram Sabha.

Highlighting a major milestone, DC Reasi announced that Adi Sewa Kendras have now been established in all 44 tribal villages of Reasi district. These centers are envisioned as a crucial step toward decentralized governance, improved service delivery, and inclusive development in tribal areas.

The Deputy Commissioner instructed BDOs to submit draft village plans after thorough gap analysis and consultation with tribal communities.Special Gram Sabhas are planned on 2nd October for the approval of these Village Action Plans, aligning local priorities with the long-term Vision 2030 framework.

Emphasizing accountability and documentation, DC Reasi directed that all IEC activities related to the Abhiyan be uploaded on the official portal by the evening.

The meeting was attended by CPO Narinder Kumar, ACD Vijay Kumar, while all BDOs joined virtually to ensure coordinated implementation across the district.

DC Reasi Calls for Accelerated Installation of Rooftop Solar and Smart Meters,Reviews PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana

REASI, 30 Sept: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Ms. Nidhi Malik (IAS), today chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the progress of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and the ongoing installation of smart meters in the district.

During the meeting, the DC took a detailed division-wise review of registrations, applications, and rooftop solar installations under the flagship scheme. It was informed that a total of 1,081 registrations have been completed, out of which 226 beneficiaries have deposited the upfront cost. So far, 204 rooftop solar systems have been successfully installed, while 39 installations are currently underway.

Expressing dissatisfaction over the slow pace, the DC stressed the importance of accelerating progress and increasing registrations under the scheme. She directed officials to intensify awareness campaigns to educate the public about the benefits of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and encourage wider participation.

In addition, the DC also reviewed the status of smart meter installations across the district. It was informed that 9,349 smart meters have been installed so far. DC Malik instructed the Executive Engineer, PDD, to expedite the installation process to ensure coverage of all areas at the earliest.

DDC laid Special emphasis on completing the installation of smart meters in 189 government buildings without delay.
Highlighting the importance of timely ex*****on, the DC directed the officers to adopt a fast-track approach to bridge existing gaps and meet the set targets within stipulated timelines.

The meeting was attended by ADDC Reasi Sukhdev Singh Samyal, CPO Narinder Kumar, DSEO Ashok Kumar, Executive Engineer PDD, AEEs, and other officials.

* जम्मू मंडल में बरसात के बाद ट्रेनों का संचालन

जम्मू 29 सितंबर 2025, उत्तर रेलवे के जम्मू मंडल में पिछले कुछ दिनों हुई, लगातार बारिश व जलभराव के कारण कई ट्रेनौं को रद्द करना पड़ा तथा कुछ को उनके गंतव्य से पहले ही टर्मिनेट करना पड़ा था। परंतु मंडल रेल प्रबंधक जम्मू श्री विवेक कुमार व अन्य अधिकारीयों द्वारा समय-समय पर विभिन्न खंडों का जायजा लेने और ट्रेन की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करते हुए, समय समय पर ट्रेनों को पुनः संचालित किया जा रहा है। इस कड़ी में कुछ ट्रेनों को चौथे फेस में पुनःपरिचालन जम्मू मंडल से शुरू किया जा रहा है।
* जिसका विवरण इस प्रकार है।

1. ट्रेन संख्या. 12470 ( जम्मूतवी - कानपुर ) इस ट्रेन का संचालन दिनांक 02.10.2025 से शुरू किया जा रहा है।
2. ट्रेन संख्या 14606 ( जम्मूतवी - योग नगरी ऋषिकेश ) इस ट्रेन का संचालन दिनांक 05.10.2025 से किया जा रहा है।
3. ट्रेन संख्या 14692 जम्मूतवी- बरौनी) इस ट्रेन का संचालन दिनांक 03.10.25 से किया जा रहा है
4. ट्रेन संख्या 22318 ( जम्मू - सियालदह ) इस ट्रेन का संचालन दिनांक 08.10.2025 से किया जा रहा है।
5. ट्रेन संख्या 15654 ( जम्मूतवी - गुवाहाटी) इस ट्रेन का संचालन 03.10.2025 से किया जा रहा हैं।
6. ट्रेन संख्या 12588 ( जम्मूतवी- गोरखपुर) इस ट्रेन का संचालन दिनांक 04.10.2025 से किया जा रहा है।
7. ट्रेन संख्या 15098( जम्मूतवी- भागलपुर) इस ट्रेन का संचालन दिनांक 7.10.2025 से किया जा रहा है।
8. ट्रेन संख्या 15652 (जम्मूतवी-गुवाहाटी) इस ट्रेन का संचालन दिनांक 8.10.2025 से किया जा रहा हैं।

इन ट्रेनों के संचालन पर वरिष्ठ मंडल वाणिज्य प्रबंधक श्री उचित सिंघल ने कहा "कि रेलवे ट्रैक की सुरक्षा और निरंतरता सुनिश्चित होने के बाद इन ट्रेनों का पुनः संचालन किया जा रहा है, यह ट्रेनें चौथे फेस में चलाई जा रही हैं, इससे पहले भी तीन फेसो ट्रेनो का पुनःसंचालन किया गया था। रेलवे ट्रैक व रेलवे ब्रिज का तकनीकी कार्य पूरा होते ही मंडल में ट्रेनों का रेल परिचालन धीरे- धीरे सामान्य किया जा रहा है । किसी भी असुविधा से बचने के लिए यात्रियों को सलाह दी जाती है, कि पहले उत्तर रेलवे की वेबसाइट या संबंधित हेल्पलाइन नम्बरों पर ट्रेन शेड्यूल की जांच अवश्य कर लें ।"

आश्विन शारदीय नवरात्रि की अष्टमी 30 सितम्बर (मंगलवार) को, नवमी 01 अक्तूबर (बुधवार) को और विजयदशमी (दशहरा) 02 अक्तूबर (गुरुवार) को होगी :- महंत रोहित शास्त्री, ज्योतिषाचार्य

श्री दुर्गाष्टमी एवं श्री दुर्गा नवमी के दिन कन्या पूजन के समय अपनी राशि अनुसार दान करें, भाग्य होगा उज्ज्वल

जम्मू-कश्मीर : व्रतों और पर्वों की तिथियों को लेकर कई बार असमंजस की स्थिति बन जाती है कि व्रत किस दिन रखा जाए। इस वर्ष आश्विन नवरात्र 22 सितम्बर (सोमवार) से प्रारंभ हुए थे और कन्या पूजन देवी दुर्गा की ‘साख’ विसर्जन के साथ सम्पन्न होंगे।
श्री कैलख ज्योतिष एवं वैदिक संस्थान ट्रस्ट के अध्यक्ष, महंत रोहित शास्त्री (ज्योतिषाचार्य) ने बताया कि –

अष्टमी : 30 सितम्बर (मंगलवार)

नवमी : 01 अक्तूबर (बुधवार)

विजयदशमी (दशहरा) : 02 अक्तूबर (गुरुवार)

यदि किसी कारणवश भक्तजन अष्टमी या नवमी तिथि को साख प्रवाहित एवं कन्या पूजन नहीं कर पाते हैं, तो वे चतुर्दशी तिथि को भी यह अनुष्ठान कर सकते हैं।

नवरात्र पूर्ण होने पर नौ दिनों में उपयोग की गई सभी सामग्री जैसे – कलश, परात में बोए गए ज्वार के अंकुर (देवी दुर्गा की साख), मिट्टी तथा अन्य पूजन-सामग्री को किसी नदी या तालाब में विसर्जित करना चाहिए। ध्यान रखें कि साख के साथ पॉलीथीन न डालें, इससे जल प्रदूषण होता है।

धर्मग्रंथों में कहा गया है कि तीन से नौ वर्ष की कन्याएं साक्षात् माता का स्वरूप मानी जाती हैं। कन्या पूजा के बिना नवरात्र का अनुष्ठान अधूरा रहता है। मान्यता के अनुसार कुछ परिवार अष्टमी को तो कुछ नवमी को कन्या पूजन करते हैं। इन कन्याओं को मां दुर्गा के नौ रूपों का प्रतीक मानकर पूजन किया जाता है।
इस दिन कन्याओं के पैर धोकर तिलक लगाया जाता है, मौली बांधी जाती है और फिर उन्हें पूड़ी, हलवा, काले चने व खीर का प्रसाद खिलाया जाता है। सामान्यतः नौ कन्याओं के साथ एक छोटे बालक को भी भोजन कराया जाता है। इसके बाद उन्हें दक्षिणा, वस्त्र या उपहार देकर आशीर्वाद लिया जाता है।

कन्याओं से इन मंत्रों द्वारा प्रार्थना करें –

मंत्राक्षरमयीं लक्ष्मीं मातृणां रूपधारिणीम्।
नवदुर्गात्मिकां साक्षात् कन्यामावाहयाम्यहम्।।

जगत्पूज्ये जगद्वन्द्ये सर्वशक्तिस्वरूपिणि।
पूजां गृहाण कौमारि जगन्मातर्नमोऽस्तु ते।।

।। कुमार्य्यै नमः, त्रिमूर्त्यै नमः, कल्याण्यै नमः, रोहिण्यै नमः,
कालिकायै नमः, चण्डिकायै नमः, शांभव्यै नमः, दुर्गायै नमः, सुभद्रायै नमः।।

राशि अनुसार दान का महत्व :

आपकी राशि वही होती है, जिसमें जन्म के समय चंद्रमा स्थित होता है।
कन्या पूजन के समय सामर्थ्य अनुसार निम्नलिखित वस्तुएं दान करें :

मेष राशि – लाल वस्त्र/रुमाल/कंगन, राजमाश, गुड़, नारियल, घी, केसर, 21 रुपये।

वृष राशि – चांदी के आभूषण, आटा, चीनी, चावल, दूध, सफेद वस्त्र।

मिथुन राशि – हरे वस्त्र, कांसे का बर्तन, मूंग दाल, घी, हरे फल।

कर्क राशि – चांदी की थाली/गिलास/चम्मच, चावल, मिश्री, दूध, सफेद वस्त्र।

सिंह राशि – स्वर्ण आभूषण, तांबे का बर्तन, गुड़, घी, माता की लाल चुनरी, केसर, 11 रुपये।

कन्या राशि – हरे वस्त्र, चांदी के सिक्के, पुस्तकें।

तुला राशि – सफेद वस्त्र, चावल, आटा।

वृश्चिक राशि – लाल वस्त्र, गुड़, घी।

धनु राशि – पीले वस्त्र, कांस्य पात्र, हल्दी, घी, केले।

मकर राशि – चांदी के सिक्के, लोहे की वस्तु, नीले वस्त्र, तेल/आयनमेंट।

कुंभ राशि – चांदी के कंगन, नीले वस्त्र।

मीन राशि – पीले वस्त्र, सोने के आभूषण, हल्दी।

👉 उपरोक्त वस्तुओं में से सभी वस्तुएं देना आवश्यक नहीं है, आप अपनी सामर्थ्य अनुसार किसी एक का भी दान कर सकते हैं।

कन्या पूजन के उपरांत नवरात्र का अंतिम कार्य ‘व्रत पारण’ अर्थात् व्रत खोलना होता है।

* गाड़ी संख्या 22477 में टिकट चेकिंग स्टाफ द्वारा यात्री को उसका छुटा हुआ सामान लौटाया *

जम्मू 28 सितंबर 2025, भारतीय रेलवे ने अपने कर्मचारियों की अनुकरणीय व्यावसायिकता और समर्पण को मान्यता दी है। यह ड्यूटी के दौरान रेल कर्मचारियों द्वारा यात्रियों के हित में किए गए सराहनीय कार्य को दर्शाती है। इसी कड़ी में जुड़ते हुए, दिनांक 27 सितंबर 2025 को गाड़ी संख्या 22477 वंदे भारत ट्रेन जो नई दिल्ली से श्री माता वैष्णो देवी कटरा तक जाती है। इस ट्रेन में यात्रा कर रहे यात्री, जिन्होंने अपनी यात्रा नई दिल्ली से जम्मू तक पूरी की तथा यात्रा की समाप्ति व अपने गंतव्य स्टेशन पर उतरने के दौरान वह अपना आईपैड और इयरबड्स जो एप्पल कंपनी के थे, अपने कोच सी 16 की सीट नंबर 70 पर भूल गया। ट्रेन के टिकट चेकिंग स्टाफ श्री बत्ती लाल मीना ने चेकिंग के दौरान देखा, कि सीट नंबर 70 पर किसी यात्री का आईपैड वह इयरबड्स पड़े हैं। टिकट चेकिंग स्टाफ ने अपनी ईमानदारी का परिचय देते हुए, एचएचटी की सहायता से यात्री का मोबाइल नंबर ढूंढ कर यात्री से बात की और ट्रेन में छूटे हुए, सामान के बारे में बताया। इस पर यात्री ने बताया, कि अपने गंतव्य स्टेशन पर उतरने के दौरान वह गलती से अपना सामान अपनी सीट पर भूल गया था। आगे सत्यापन की कार्यवाही पूर्ण करते , हुए आरपीएफ की मौजूदगी में यात्री को उसका सामान लौटाया गया। अपना सामान प्रकार यात्री ने रेलवे तथा टिकट चेकिंग स्टाफ को धन्यवाद दिया।

इस सराहनीय कार्य पर वरिष्ठ मंडल वाणिज्य प्रबंधक श्री उचित सिंघल ने कहा " कि यह घटना यात्रियों की सुरक्षा और संतुष्टि के प्रति भारतीय रेल कर्मचारियों की ईमानदारी और प्रतिबद्धता का एक सशक्त उदाहरण है।"
