अक्टूबर २००६ , को आवाज़ ने अपना पहला मासिक समाचार पत्र प्रस्तुत किया | आवाज़ पिछले 14 वर्षों से कैम्पस सम्बन्धी ताज़ा समाचार तथा सामयिक विषयों पे समीक्षा प्रस्तुत करती रही है | इन वर्षों में कैम्पस में काफी कुछ बदला है और राजभाषा हिंदी के माध्यम से 'आवाज़' आपसे अनवरत जुड़ी रही |


कैम्पस से जुड़ी घटनाओं पे निष्पक्ष राय सहित विधिवत विश्लेषण हमारी खूबी रही है | 'पंजी डूड ' आर. के. लक्ष्मण के 'कामन मैन' की तरह एक मुहावरा बन चुका है | 'भाट' ,'इनसे क्या कहें' तथा एक पहलु ऐसा भी' हमारे प्रचलित स्तम्भ हैं जिनका जनता को बेसब्री से इंतज़ार रहता है | आवाज़ के 'पहल' नाम के स्तम्भ से आई आई टी खड़गपुर में कई क्रन्तिकारी बदलाव आये जिनमे मुख्यतः छात्रावासों की नियमित साफ़ सफाई , कैम्पस के आस पास के इलाकों में छात्रों द्वारा शिक्षा सेवा आदि हैं | विश्वसनीयता ने लोकप्रियता का रास्ता अपने आप खोल दिया और 'आवाज़ ' कैम्पस में आपके लिए समाचार का शुलभ माध्यम बन गया।

ताज़ातरीन सामग्री तत्काल उपलब्ध कराने के लिए हमारी टीम साल के 365 दिन काम करती है| कैम्पस ही नहीं, इससे जुड़े विश्व के लगभग हर कोने से खबर ढूंढ कर हमारे पत्रकार आप तक समाचार पहुंचाने के लिए तैनात रहते हैं | २००६ में टीम का गठन होने के बाद आवाज़ ने कई उतार चढाव देखें हैं और अब आवाज़ सुगठित होकर कैम्पस में नियमित समाचार का जरिया है | आवाज़ अपनी विशिष्ट भाषा शैली और निष्पक्षता के लिए हमेशा से जानी जाती रही है | शिक्षा से लेकर प्रबंधन तक हर विषय पर हमारे विशिष्ट लेख पत्रकारिता को दिशा देते रहे हैं | धन्यवाद

IIT Kharagpur has approved a new evaluation policy, moving to a 30–30–40 grading structure with greater weight on continuous assessment. The reform aims to reduce exam-centric pressure, shorten end-semester exams, and reflect sustained effort across the semester.

Reactions, however, remain mixed. While attendance-based deregistration has been removed, the introduction of surprise tests and expanded teacher assessment has raised questions about whether pressure is being reduced—or simply redistributed. For some, the model promises flexibility and steadier engagement. For others, it feels like the same rigor spread across more checkpoints.

As departments adapt the framework in their own ways, concerns around consistency, subjectivity, and student well-being continue to surface. Whether this marks a meaningful shift or a structural reshuffle will likely be judged not just by policy intent, but by everyday classroom experience.

Change is underway. The conversation around how it is felt is just beginning.
