this aloo karela recipe turns out so good
here is the recipe 👇
》take 250 gm of karela
peel in to pieces add salt to get rid of bitterness (I didn't do that process because I like the bitterness of kerala)
》in the meanwhile
☆1 medium onion
☆1 medium tomato
☆1 medium potato
chop all into slices
》 now wash and squeeze the salted water from karela. now heat mustard oil in the kadhai,add chopped karela, add little salt and cook for until 80%cooked
》take it out from pan, in the same pan heat mustard oil, add= 1tsp fennel seeds, 1tsp mustard seeds, 1tsp jeera, a pinch of hing,1 dried red chilli
》saute well, now add onion, cook until brown , add tomato, cook for few minutes, now add potato, salt as per taste, mix well , cover and cook until potatoes cooked
》when potatoes cooked well Add sauted karela and coarinder powder, garam masala, aamchur powder, cover and cook for few minutes
》after few minutes the karela are cooked well serve hot with chapati and sabzi.
