Hon'ble MLA Inderwal Sh. Payare Lal Sharma Chairs Key Meeting on Rural Development

,Inderwal 26-07-2025//Hon’ble MLA Inderwal, Sh. Payare Lal Sharma, convened a comprehensive meeting with the Block Development Officer (BDO) Inderwal, Block President JKNC Inderwal, officials from the Rural Development Department, and members of the general public.

The meeting focused on reviewing ongoing developmental works, addressing public grievances, and ensuring effective coordination between elected representatives, officials, and the community. The MLA emphasized the importance of timely ex*****on of projects and transparent governance to bring visible change at the grassroots level.

Awareness Programme on Agriculture Schemes Held at Chatroo and Mughalmaidan

Today, an awareness programme was successfully organized by agriculture department of district Kishtwar under the chairmanship of Hon’ble MLA Inderwal at Chatroo . The objective of the programme was to educate the local populace about various agriculture-related schemes being implemented by the government.

During the event, Hon’ble MLA Inderwal addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of agriculture in strengthening the rural economy. He urged the people of Chatroo and Mughalmaidan to actively participate in the schemes and avail the benefits being provided under different flagship programmes.

He further assured the public that every possible step will be taken to ensure the effective implementation of these schemes at the grassroots level, thereby enhancing income opportunities and ensuring sustainable agricultural development in the region.

Srinagar, July 25 (JKNS): After the recent incident at SMHS Hospital Srinagar, Health Minister Sakina Yatoo today visited the hospital and took stock of the situation. She said an inquiry has been initiated and assured that strict action will be taken against any doctor or staff member found involved.

Sakina Yatoo also said that some doctors left their duties after the incident, due to which patients suffered. She made it clear that action will also be taken against such doctors.

The Health Minister said a formal order will soon be issued, making it mandatory for all doctors to wear aprons with a clearly visible 'Doctor' sticker for easy identification. (JKNS)
