Subject: Request for early survey and realignment of Bidda–Galhar Road (approximately 5 km) and development of the proposed road as a proper junction/connectivity point.
Respected Sir,
I respectfully submit that the Bidda–Galhar road alignment requires reconsideration in the public interest. The existing/proposed alignment passes through an area where the construction of the proposed dam/project may create a risk of landslides and damage to the road alignment in the future.
Therefore, it is requested that the concerned department may kindly conduct an early technical survey and site inspection of the proposed alternative alignment from Bidda towards Galhar, including the proposed route through Roll Village, and examine the feasibility of realigning the road for approximately 5 kilometres.
It is further requested that the new alignment may be planned in such a manner that it provides a proper road junction and better connectivity for Bidda, Roll Village, Galhar and surrounding villages. This will help ensure safer and more reliable connectivity for local residents and facilitate transportation, agriculture, tourism and other developmental activities.
I therefore humbly request the concerned authorities to kindly direct the concerned road/National Highway authorities to undertake the survey at the earliest and take necessary action on the proposed realignment in the larger public interest.
