Today on 6th of June, 2026, a grand Pad Yatra was organized under the dynamic guidance of Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of JK-UT, Shri Manoj Sinha. A huge gathering of students and the general public enthusiastically participated in the rally, reflecting the spirit of unity, education, and social awareness.
It is pertinent to mention that more than 1100 students of Islamia Faridia Higher Secondary School Kishtwar, along with a large number of Waqf employees, actively participated in the Pad Yatra under the dynamic leadership of Principal IFHSS Kishtwar, Mr. Mehboob Ahmed Qazi, and the overall praiseworthy guidance of Mr. Firdoos Ahmed Bawani.
On this memorable occasion, Mr. Mehboob Ahmed Qazi and other Waqf dignitaries presented a traditional shawl as a token of gratitude and respect.
The event concluded successfully with overwhelming public participation and appreciation.
