Today, Drabshalla District Kishtwar- a joint visit was conducted to the Joshana Grid Station along with locals, the Tehsil Administration, and PDD officials to assess the on-site scope for connecting Drabshalla–Saroor to the grid. The Tehsil Administration assured that every possible solution will be pursued, and RHPC is expected to agree to the provision of supply. A positive outcome is anticipated within the next four days

Public of Drabshalla today staged a peaceful prot*est against the PDD Department over continuous electricity shortages and the long-pending demand for power supply from the Joshana Grid. Despite the administration having fully completed the distribution setup, the approval from RHPC is still awaited. Residents of Saroor and Drabshalla, District Kishtwar, urged the authorities to address the issue without further delay and ensure reliable electricity to the region

After 29 days of intense search, the body of Ali Hussain (S/O Mohd Haneef) from Kahankoot Bugrana, Drabshalla, District Kishtwar was finally recovered near Koda Pani, Doda.
Abrar Mattoo, along with locals and the grieving family, reached the spot and assisted in completing all police and medical formalities.
