LITTLE DO WE KNOW,

THE SIGN OF THE CROSS IS A CATECHESIS AND THE SHORTEST MOST POWERFUL PRAYER

The sign of the Cross as a sign is rich of theological treatise of the Catholic faith it carries within all at once the Truine God in His: divine attributes; prosessions and spirations of the Holy Spirit; The Hypostatic Union of the Two Natures of Christ; the 3 Divine Persons of the Trinity; Oneness of God’s Divine Nature, and the Natire, Persons in God; and Dexterity and Righteousness of God are all align in the markings and symbolisms. Very truly, it is the shortest yet the most powerful prayer we can seal our body and soul. Its has these following tenets of Christian Othodoxy:

The Right Hand: the use of Right Hand in making the sign of the cross; what does it symbolizes? Right hand or sitting on the right or giving a blessing in the old testament is a sign of Grace and power of God is at work it bestowed even by Abraham to Isaac; Isaac to Jacob through in his old age he was tricked but still God’s blessing has been bistowed. In the same manner we use our right hand to bless and seal our own body with the dexerity and righteousness of Trinitarian God we process and believe.

The 5 Fingers of Right Hand: Even if 2 are folded these fingers inherently concealed the mystery of God’s divine attributes:
1. He is Omnipotent Almight or All-powerful God. Created out nothing to existence and continue to subsist through his power;
2. He is Ominiscient or All-knowing; he know all creation and call them by name, he know the hair of your head are numbered
3. He is Onipresent or present everwhere all the time; it we light in the sunlight and sail beyond the sea still he we find God there.
4. He is All- Holy; Righteous and Just.
5. He is Simplicity purely expressed in Love

O God, You are a God of justice, mercy and compassion. Support us your servants of the poor, as we endeavour to bring your love and compassion to people who are homeless and in need of your love. We pray that we will see you, our all-loving God in each homeless person we encounter and in our service for those in need, Amen.

St. Vincent de Paul, pray for us.

MORNING PRAYER

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. AMEN.

Dear God, I thank you infinitely for putting yourself in my path as my constant savior and for having brought me with joy and hope to live the new month of September.

Thank you Lord for the sun that shines, for my home, for my beloved family and for each of the precious blessings with which You fill our lives; how beautiful it is to live in the peace and certainty that only Your company gives.

Heavenly Father, today marks the beginning of the month of September and from this moment on I want to put into your hands everything I am and everything I have. I ask you to help me fulfill my obligations, my work, and my desires.

Please guide each of my steps, fill my spirit with courage, clarify my doubts and allow your presence to shine brightly in my life, like an intense light that never goes out.

Give me clarity to make good decisions, intuition to choose the right friend and wisdom to live in peace and prosperity.

Please look upon my life and the life of my family, free us from all danger, shelter us in your protective mantle and do not allow us to be affected by evil words, harmful envy or lurking enemies.

Please change our bitterness and difficulties into joy and opportunities, and if for any reason we feel down, remind us that it is in You where we can find the faith and strength necessary to continue moving forward along the path that You paved for us.

Dear God, today the month of September begins and I take refuge in You because I know that in Your shelter I will find joy and peace. In this new month I will live trusting and I will accept the plans that You have for my life, because You are good and You always lead me along beautiful paths of joy and blessing, Amen.

have regard for my intercessions.
On earth you opened your heart
to the miseries of your fellow man,
and your hands were strong to help them;
now in heaven your charity has not grown less
nor has your power waned.
Pray for me to the Mother of the Rosary
and to her Divine Son,
for I have great confidence
that through your assistance
I shall obtain the favor I so much desire:
