Even after exploring countless forests across India — and experiencing the wildlife paradise of Maasai Mara multiple times — the Periyar Tiger Trail still stands tall in my heart.
Without a doubt, this is the best wildlife program I have ever been part of.

It’s not about sightings or ticking animals off a list. It’s about the raw, immersive experience — the feeling of walking deep into the heart of the forest, sleeping inside the territory of wild animals, surrounded by untouched wilderness. The forest ambience, the silence, the sounds, the energy — it’s all incredibly humbling.

This was my fourth time here, and I know I’ll return again. Some places leave a mark on your soul — this is one of them.
